Help finding a thread about "fitting" mounts to silencers
There was a thread on here some months ago about some slight filing that could be done to the 51T mounts to ensure the suppressor seated properly. I thought I did something so I could find it again, but now I can't. Anybody remember what I am referencing? If not I can probably figure where to grind,...

Re: Ringing issues with Breakout mount ?
I never heard the ring of the flashhider but I can assure you the breakout is loud enough you won't be worrying about any ringing outside of your ears. It is noticeably louder to the shooter than the standard birdcage FH. Works just like advertised though, and if it is too loud, just put the can on :)

Re: Storing suppressor on gun
Thanks everyone for the replies Not a problem as long as the suppressor is clean and/or dry when put away. *If a suppressor is shot only a few times, it can build moisture in the suppressor. Don't store it in that condition. Fire the weapon and suppressor until it's hot enough to dry it or store the...

Storing suppressor on gun
Long setup story alert. Skip this paragraph to get to the actual question. Got my 762sdn6 this winter and have shot it a few times. It is freaking awesome. Now it is spring/summer and the foxes and skunks have been coming around eating our chickens, guinneas and their eggs. After shooting a skunk wi...

OK, I'll be sarcastic. Isn't there an END on both ends? Both of which are capped using ENDCAPS?Bendersquint wrote:
You said ENDCAPS which is on the END of the silencer not the mount system.

huh?? Either you are being sarcastic or we have a slight miscommunication. I am talking about their MAAD mount "Silencerco’s Multiple Accessory Attachment Device (MAAD) allows you to interchange the Saker’s mount so that you can attach the Saker to your preexisting quick detach mount and...

Plans for new saker endcaps?
Since I ordered my suppressor (7.62sd-n-6) I have thought it would be great if I could get a Noveske Fire Pig type device that I could throw on in certain situations. Now with the new Saker interchangable endcaps, I'm thinking this could be much more of a reality. But, how do I make sure I'm designi...

Re: Re-thread Barrel?

One of the reasons I also had the question is because myself, and most people I know insert in the " Reason for purchase" box is collectible or investment purposes on the form 4. I may have stated that wrong, but I've never heard of anyone using " For Self Defense". I believe mo...

Re: CZ 455 as host?
Yea, I played with the single set triggers at my local and they were pretty darn nice. I think I prefer the standard adjustable one just for simplicity though. Your comments about the threading and length is interesting. I was having a hard time finding one that came with both barrels that were thre...

CZ 455 as host?
I have a serious thing for interchangeable calibers in rifles (one of the reasons I love my XCR) and I have been debating on .22lr or .17hmr forever. Now I see the 455 is offered with a barrel for both. I was wondering if anyone has experience with them and can give some feedback on them. I imagine ...

Who is still waiting and when did you go pending? I checked NfA tracker, but I know there's tons of people who never filled that out. Pending with Froshur since 9/2/11 on 2 form 4's. I first had the conversions... A Ciener and a CMMG. I got a dedicated .22 barrel from CMMG for $100. Assembled a .22 upper and it works great with my Checkmate.... Much better than the chamber conversions. Is this what you are talking about? I'm confused as to how this works exactly. You remove the...

Here's a guy who just came out with a new M14 M1A barrel that will take a silencer threaded directly on the muzzle of the barrel. Re: Wanted semi auto not an AR15 in 6.5 LBC/Sporter/Grendel
Robinson used their customers as paying testors to work our the bugs (some of them, anyway), made them pay for upgrades after they made design changes, and then the owner came unglued at the very customers that paid him to help him design his gun. AND he still didn't address most of the biggest and...

Re: Suicide at the range
Hate to jump in between here, but I think the difference lies in the intent vs the result. With traditional suicide, the intent is to kill ones self, and the result is death by suicide. Or more than 10Xs more often, harm by failed suicide attempt. With the person who jumps on a grenade, there is no ...

Re: AAC SCAR-HD with holes???
Yes, I know. In general terms, when you want to lower the cyclic rate of a rifle, there are two ways to do it. You can modify the rifle's gas system, or you can drill holes in the silencer. If you are a silencer company, you want to modify the rifle to be designed for the silencer. this is very cle...
