Re: M11 mags zytel or steel

I was referring to ZYTEL mags. The ZMAGs look nice and I might give one a try.

Re: M11 mags zytel or steel

Z mags are ok for short term if your willing to fix them and tinker. I went will all steel south African mags. I put about a 30 degree shoulder cut on the catch area. Polished all working surfaces and cut back the feed lips. These are just enhancements not all are necessary. Those mags just don't fa...

Re: new project

I think its good to ask questions but some are better ask to the people behind the decision in question in this case the NFA branch. We all see people posting questions on how to do this or that and some are shady and some are not. This question you ask was not bad in its self but in the way you ask...

Re: new project

Just asking. I read the long drawn out post. Soundtech I have 2 custom{yes custom! only 2 in existence} cans from Mark White himself. But it would help in the future to post a question of that nature with a bit of detail. Because no one likes the included statements when it comes to building a suppr...

Re: 308 bullet tumble?

Historian you are talking apples to subsonic flight characteristics of bullets. Yes your Infield would have perfect accuracy at 800 with a match grade bullet. But go load one at 1050 fps and go shoot that at 800yd. One of the things the OP needs to be aware of is sticking a bullet in the barrel. But...

Re: 308 bullet tumble?

Depends on some factors. Bullet type, load , and distance. All bullets tumble at a certain range and that depends on factors. So if you are loading a MK168 at 1050 I have found them to being prone to tumble at 200YD. But a Lapua 200gr Subsonic only bullet will not in the same gun at the same velocit...

Re: better hurry

I saw that and here is a pulled line from his ad. OMG this is funny.!!!!!!! Why is this worth $900.00 a case? It is match grade. IT is consistent! That is why its worth so much. It is boringly consistent at 200 yards.. And at 200 yds that would have 112.9 inch drop there are allot of rifle scopes th...

Re: better hurry

And I think this is all BS. I think someone started a rumor about military sales of .22lr. So the manufactures and the distributors saw a opening for huge profits. kinda like the AR15 jumps when some one say's BAN. Because correct me if I am wrong but the military would only be supplied by a small h...

Re: Fiocchi 9APE Subsonic Update

The 147 grain stuff from Fiocchi I bought was NOT subsonic. I am not sure they have two separate loads or not . But they where not subsonic out of a UZI and HD9mm suppressor. They definitely where not out of my colt 9mm AR.

Re: Fiocchi 9APE Subsonic Update

I bought a roll sizer for 9mm and it works great to take 150-180 gr .357 to 9mm spec. I know there is only a couple tho but cuts down on fowling and build up.

I bought 2 cases of that stuff on a promotion deal and I really like it. I think they may even use a VIT powder because it burns clean.

Re: better hurry

This makes me sick. 65$ for a brick of what was 13$ that's just gouging out right. Its funny we sell .22 all day for very little profit at our shop. Sure it runs out with in a hour but at least we are fair. I have collected .22 ammo in bulk since I was 18 I guess for those prices my storage unit. I ...

Re: What are you guys paying for NFA transfers?

Really most of my out of state transfers are free as part of the fact I'm probably paying to much anyway or the dealer is already making huge profit. I.E. Machine guns . I have never paid for a transfer period at least in a up front manner. But it seems allot are on here are proud they are all most ...

Re: What are you guys paying for NFA transfers?

I have NEVER paid these fee's buying dealer inventory or not!!!! Not one time. No dealers in my area charge this at all. I ran into a guy that tried the hourly charge thing he quickly lost his business and moved. I would never pay a fee and if they ask I would end the sale and walk. I did have a dea...

I understand there are many ways to pull a trigger but never heard anyone use the words "press" and "reset" in proper form before. I would think the weapon would reset the trigger for you, how far you let the trigger move outward from reset would be up to the user. But you take a...

Wow a .50 with thermal now that's what I call over kill in a standoff situation. Her is the way your suspect hiding behind IV armour plating with children would end up. ALL DEAD yes ALL due to the fact the bullet crashing thru Armour plate would then send multi high speed projectiles in all directio...

Re: Best 50 cal suppressor?

If all these PD's own them what is there main use? If a PD owns one I suspect its for budget elevation as to keep the budget as the same as it has been so they might buy one not as a necessity for use but one so the cash keeps flowing. But also maybe there would be a use for one in areas that could ...

I'm sure bomb disposal units might have something to say about that in a domestic PD. I have heard one SIG suppressor at a Demo at a base and was not impressed it may not be the one you are referencing.
