Re: Cheap HD shotgun (Mossberg 930.....Legacy Escort....)

I have a cute little Escort 20 ga youth that shoots pretty well. I won it at a Banquet, have held on to it but took it skeet shooting one day and did pretty well with it. It has some funky controls, mag shut off button, the gold button so when I break it out I have to think a little. I have some buc...

Re: SBS Engraved????

A SBR would have a short barrel and be less than 26 inches. Why over think that? Leave 4h for additional markings.

It is a registered SBR when an SBR, just a rifle when not an SBR with a registered SBR lower, never an AOW.

Re: SBS Engraved????

In 4h you place any additional info. For example when I did a Form 1 SBR I added "300 BLK" in 4h because I did not intend to have a 5.56 SBR upper, so I had to engrave caliber because the barrel marking was not visible. And it looks cool. Many will write in every marking on the gun in 4h thinking th...

22/45 lite. Nice pistol, handles well, not very expensive, plenty of accessories.

Re: SBS Engraved????

You boys! Agree to disagree! Entertaining! The language is clear. The Maker must engrave. Now of course the paperwork does not make you prove that info once you assemble the weapon so a lot of guys will skip that step. Or when leaving 4h blank then infer that since it is blank, then nothing needs to...

Re: Price check MAC 11A1

Not all the M11 A1 frames are the same. even with in the same manufacturer. The conversion uppers seem to have mixed reviews, but internet reviews as we know can be bogus. I don't know anyone who has run one. [/i] Well I just snapped on the Max31A upper on my SWD M11A1 upper and proceeded to run 3 ...

I too am waiting on my Spectre II but have a S&W M&P ready for it. It is a very nice platform despite not having shot it supressed yet.

Re: What twist for 10.5 AR15 barrel suppressed

I just bought a RRA 10.5 with a 1:7 5.56 chamber. The round does not generate enough speed out of a short barrel so the military went to a heavier bulllet for better effect on soft things, so they used a heavier bullet. E=mv^2. While my SBR Is a range toy, if the zombie apocalypse happens to strike,...

Re: A Handy Rifle! AAC's 300 BLK Handi Rifle (Video)

I recently had an old NEF 30-30 threaded at 16.5 inches and used my YHM QD phantom. I must say I was impressed once I shot it. Its name is the Ugly Pug, but quickly was referred to as the Giggle stick too. The Pug. http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m70/supercrewd/Guns%20and%20Ammo/Guns/photo-1-1.jp...

30-30 Subs

I bought a NEF 30-30 pretty cheap at auction so I thought I should thread it and use it as a host. I am still in the load development phase but it has proven very quiet using Trailboss and 165 and 180 grain SST bullets. 7.5 grains with the 165 yielded 950-1050 fps and 850+/- with the 180 grain bulle...

For trusts, wouldn't you think you could be assigned a user no. (like an EIN) and all of the documentation would be on file? Same for all repeat customers reallly. Too innovative?

Re: Price check MAC 11A1

I think the listed speed is 900 rpm. Here is the web blurb: This upper receiver is a 9mm version of the MAX-11A1 upper receiver descibed above. Uses inexpensive 9mm ammunition and reduces the rate of fire (ROF) from 1,800 RPM down to around 950 RPM. The MAX-11A1 attaches to the stock M-11A1 lower re...
