Re: Is it normal that my URXIII front sight is a bit loose?

If I wiggle them, both of my URX II's have a small amount of side to side and front to back play, though they don't move on their own. You have to try to move them to see it. My URX II LW, which is spring loaded, also has some side to side play. I'd imagine the URX III will be very similar in that r...

Re: SR-15E3 barrel and bolt - potentially for sale

On my high round count SR15 I'm going to be re-barreling it with an 11.5" barrel. I'm debating if I should use the same bolt and barrel extension or replace them with standard parts. One of the reasons for using standard parts (since I have others than use standard parts as well) would be so th...

Re: T-1 "Star Wars" Mount

Oh, the new KAC cantilever, or whatever it's called, mount. I haven't used one, but I think it's geared for helmets and head gear. My LaRue mounts almost sit too high as it is.

Re: URX III availability?

This is turning out to be some pretty hard info to get! I just don't want to waste any more money on Triple Taps when it's not compatible with the new cans. I was all but ready to switch to Surefire or Battle Comps with the 51t mount that's due soon, but I'm waiting to make a decision based on the 5...

Re: URX III availability?

So, any of you guys that are using the URX III now, how does it handle the heat? I get my URX II's pretty hot and I appreciate having the rail covers. If you're not wearing gloves, have you noticed these getting hot or do they disperse the heat well? Part of the reason I got rid of my LW URX II (and...

Re: 762QD & 762CQB

That's what I was afraid of. It's also what I had thought, but talking to a well known member last night, he seemed to think I was wrong about those new cans that work with the MAMS not being backwards compatible with the Triple Tap.

Thanks.

Re: 762QD & 762CQB

Ok, this is somewhat confusing since there's so little info. Here's my concern with this. I currently have 2 Triple Taps and have 3 more guns I'd like to put Triple taps on, at least. The only reason I haven't bought more is because of the cans I have now. But, with the new suppressors and mounts co...

Re: 762QD & 762CQB

Are there any pics of the 5.56 MAMS? any idea at all when the 5.56 MAMS will become available as well as the cans? I'm running T3's now and was considering two more, but can't see doing that with the MAMS coming. Any time frame at all would be greatly appreciated as would some pics. Thanks. Jonathan

Re: URX III availability?

Can rail sections be added to this one? Not that it's really necessary, I'm just curious as it looks like the added sections would be much thinner than the LW URX II using MOE sections. I'd really like to be able to add a very tin section of rail to the right side for my gear sector scout mount and ...

Re: KAC Picture Thread

I just picked up a LW URX II, but I don't have a wrench or block to install it. So, I'll probably wait until I send one of my SR15's off to be re-barreled with an 11.5" and add it to that one. I'm still not sure about the slick rails though. How hot they get, how thick the MOE rail sections are...

Re: Pictures from 11/3/12 Silencer Talk KAC Tour/Demo

I should have seen the 16 in that post, but somehow I read SR15. Well, I'm actually glad to hear that, it'll save me some money. I'm thinking of getting a rifle length URX III's for one of my SR15's if they're available. Those guns look amazing. My only concern with those rails is that mine get very...

What exactly is the difference with the Enhanced SR15's? Is it just the URX III?

Very nice.

I've noticed that so many of you guys that have nice collections or are just generally serious shooters live in Florida. I'm in Corpus Christi, Tx and I can never find anyone to shoot with besides two of my buddies.

So, what's new about these. I have 2 SR15's and am working on a 11.5 SBR. What's "enhanced", I tried searching but it brings me back here.

Thanks.

Re: KAC Picture Thread

Jbo723, those guns look so nice together! Love to see the whole collection. Here's my 2 SR15's after finally getting around to stippling the rail covers a month or so ago. The one on the left has a Triple Tap and a Vltor A5, the one on the right has a Gemtech fh/mount and Vltor A5, but that is going...

Re: KAC T1 Battery Cover - Help Needed

Thanks a lot, guys. I really appreciate the advice and I would never have thought to use the second battery, even after all the searching I've done. I actually starting to think that maybe the rubber ring was putting too much pressure on the battery since when I backed it off, it would come back on....

Re: KAC T1 Battery Cover - Help Needed

Ok. So, + side to + side... Mine was already very tight. I had to use my index finger and thumb on both hands to get it tight or loosen it. Now, with the second batter and the rubber ring still in place, it tightens to almost the same place. Instead of being straight up at the 8 position, it's now s...

You know, that search and google thing is one of my favorite lines and here it's used on me! Thanks for the reply and believe me, I've searched all over before posting this.
