Re: $100 + shipping 10" 300 black out barrel

i've never barreled an upper. i'd think about buying one of these if i knew i could. i probably can, i built my AR lower and i have just about finished building an AK from a flat. i would love to have a 10" 300BLK upper for my AR (with a stamp of course) because the can i've decided on for my 9...

Re: have to change my plans :-(

Well, I think I've made a decision! I believe I would be best served by the Octane HD II its a little heavy, but less than the Mystic. I'm reallt diggin the fact that the snap together baffles keep the debris from reaching the tube. If I am understanding it correctly (please correct me if I'm not), ...

Re: Anyone in Central Florida looking for Octane 9 HD 2

damn! that's not too far from my place. i'm in the market for a 9mm can, but don't know a lot about that one. is it FA rated? dippable? anybody familiar with it? use one? how quiet? this might be a sign from God 8)

Re: have to change my plans :-(

I think your two suppressor Idea is the way to go. I have a Tirant 9 for a pistol suppressor but the liberty Infinity would have been just as good. I bought the Tirant because I was able to get a great price at the time. I have a Bowers CAC9 for my M11, I like it very much and would buy it again bu...

Re: How do you shoot full auto...and hit something?

+1 for Richard Lage 8) i'm sure i probably would've eventually learned to shoot my SWD M11/9 accurately, but we will never know. i had a MAX11 upper, before i ever brought my M11 home, and have shot maybe 2 or 3 mags through the gun with the original upper. the origianl upper lives in a box, the La...

Re: have to change my plans :-(

This is going to be mostly snark with a little bit of truth learned from experience: At least now you have the option of getting some top teir silencers like ones from SiCo/SWR, AAC, or... Well, that's all I'd buy from actually. i have no problem buying a top shelf can. i really do not mind spendin...

Re: have to change my plans :-(

I don't understand how this 9mm centerfire pistol suppressor will not cycle a Semi-Auto pistol with a piston, because of weight, but all the others will? It is relatively the same weight as the TM Isis-2 9mm, 5oz lighter than the Mystic and both of them cycle perfectly for me on both a compact and ...

have to change my plans :-(

maybe y'all can point out something from a perspective i missed. ya know - sometimes an outsider has a different view and can see things the affected person is missing. i had my heart set on a Kestrel 9. i had been talking to Steve, at Hunter Town Arms, since before that can was even finished. i've ...

Re: gaurdian 9?

Cool, thanks for the feedback! I'm also considering the Kestrel 9 (it'll be ready soon) as it is all stainless and FA rated. I'm just a little concerned. See, it would be intended for both a 9mm handgun and an open bolt smg. I'm worried that it will be a little too heavy for the handgun and a little...

gaurdian 9?

Hey, guys, this is just one of a whole slew of questions I'm gonna be asking.

I'm considering a Hunter Town Arms Gaurdian 9. Does anybody have first hand experience with this can? How does it compare to other 9mm cans like the Evo, TiRant, Mystic, or Isis?

Thanks.

FWIW my form4 took almost exactly 6months. It was a SMG on a trust and Lamberger was my examiner.

I'm about to start another wait, glad to hear times might be getting shorter :)

Cool, that is the way I was understanding it, as well. Now a quick mechanical questions that could ruin the entire plan, anyway - is the cover plate on the back of an AK pistol receiver wide enough to have two holes in it that are the correct width for an Ace folding mechanism to be attached? Thank...

legal question - Draco

I have a question about the legality of an AK Pistol build i am contemplating. Draco was a bad title, because it is NOT a Draco, it is a 2 Munkeez custom. first of all, let me clarify - i am not looking for whether or not it is a good idea, whether or not YOU would push the envelope, etc. not lookin...

Re: Which AR lower to SBR?

i guess i didn't explain it, correctly. i have an AR15 that i want to have cut down (by ADCO) all the way to the gas block. i want an SBR, but i like my rifle, so i'm having it cut down instead of building a new one. HOWEVER, my lower is a high shelf and if i'm going to go through the hassles of cut...

Re: Which AR lower to SBR?

I'm faced with a similar decision and I've decided that the lower I use just has to have a low shelf. I don't want a SBR'd AR that wont accept a RLL. Other than that, I agree - a forged lower is a forged lower, in fact I believe half the "competitors" actually get theirs at the same place....

i would like to say something, in defense of the OP. i often see this whole - 'you're not allowed to do it, so WHY do you want to know how unless you plan on breaking the law' argument thrown up whenever someone wants to discuss converting SA's to FA. well..... that logic is crap. in fact, it's a sl...
