Re: Tirant 9mm or Rugged Obsidian 45 for 9mm
A couple of people on this forum have commented that the Obsidian has a noticeable FRP. Is this also noticed with the Octane 45? They both seem pretty similar in design and construction so I would be surprised if there was much of a difference. I don't notice one from my Octane9.

Which one?
Which .45 suppressor would you prefer: Griffin Resistance or Sig Sauer SRD45? Suppression is the most important consideration. Thanks.

Re: Comment: Spectre II vs Sparrow (vs. Amphibian vs. Oasis-P vs
I have both the Sparrow and Spectre 2. Sparrow FRP very noticeable on a pistol but almost non-existant on a rifle. Other than FRP they sound about the same. If the can is only going to be on a rifle then get whichever is cheaper or available, otherwise get the Spectre.

Suppressing 40 cal
I have always heard that suppressing 40cal is inherently hard, that both 9mm and 45acp suppress much better. I have a TiRant45 and I think 45 actually sounds a LITTLE quieter than 40 through it. Why is this? Would a dedicated 40 can (Osprey, YHM Sidewinder) do a better job? Just my curiosity working...

45 can
I have a TiRant 45 and want to get a second 45 can. Griffen Resistance 45 or YHM 45 Sidewinder? Performance is more important than size, weight, etc. Thanks in advance for your opinions!

Light 9mm can
Hello. Been away for awhile so way behind on what's out there now. I have a 9mm Shield with a threaded barrel (Tornado Tech). It shoots perfectly when not suppressed, but when a can is on it sometimes fails to feed. The can is an Octane HD 9mm and I think the weight hanging on the end of the barrel ...

PPQ and Octane
I recently purchased a Walther PPQ M2 9mm (threaded barrel). Great gun and awesome trigger. However......when a suppressor is placed on it, the slide will not cycle fully and return to full battery. This occurs on almost all shots and with multiple types of ammo. I started looking on blogs and appar...

P229 threaded barrel
Hello again. I have a Sig P229 40 cal. that I would like to get a threaded barrel for. It seems that my only choices are EFK Firedragon and Bar-Sto. I seem to remember in the past that EFKs were not well thought of and even to be avoided. I have a Bar-Sto in another gun and it is a great barrel, but...

FNC upper
Ok, don't laugh, but..... The FNC was supposedly built as a NATO weapon, so is it possible that an AR upper will fit on it? Not sure how universal the construction was. I have a select fire FNC and love it. How cool would it be to put a 300 Blk upper on it! Just a thought.

I have one on my CAC9 on a full auto Uzi. It works great! Sure it can get hot, but it never has been hot enough that I couldn't hold it. Good product.

Re: FNC muzzle brake
Any possibility that it is pinned? I don't see one, but................ Also, is it a concern to put too much torque on the barrel to cause damage?

FNC muzzle brake
Anyone know how to remove a muzzle brake on an FNC? I know it is LH thread, but is it pinned like some other FNs? Thanks.

Re: M&P Shield 9mm Threaded barrel?
Tornado Tech has extended and threaded barrels on 3 of my guns, including a M&P Shield 9mm, and all have been great. It's almost impossible to see where the work was done. It's a great option!

Modifications to an AK
Hello again. I have a mid-80s Norinco Mac90 (AK47). I have changed the stock for traditional AK stocks and typically use a 30 round magazine. I can't remember all of the "Assault Rifle" rules but I seem to remember only 3 modifications were allowed; 2 piece stock and extended magazine. By ...
