Mini 7 question

I looked at the specs for the mini7 on the AAC web site and it only listed data for 300 BLK...is it rated for 308 win? I am interested in using it on an 18" JP rifle with hot 110 vmax, 155 AMAX and 175 SMK loads. Will the can take that kind of rapid fire abuse? Thanks for any help in advance.

Thanks...cleaning the booster spring right now.....as for the ammo...I checked checked sizing....good there. Next, I am going to try some higher power rounds to see if that helps.

Cycling problem????

Does anyone have any idea why I would have cycling issues with my XDm 45 525 pistol? It does not happen all the time. The pistol will cycle just fine for part of a mag then will start to not go fully into battery. Here is some background. First, I added a Bar-Sto threaded barrel. The gun works perfe...

Re: .45 suppressed

I have a TI Rant 45 and an FNP45 Tactical.... I took it out to fire off a couple of shots before I did my weekend drills with my 1911. I ended up shooting 300 rounds through the TI Rant (dry) without hearing protection....only ended up putting about 50 rounds down range from the 1911..... the TI Ran...

Re: AAC 7.62 muzzle brake???

Has anyone compared the performance of the AAC brake against anything else out there? I am interested in using it on a 18" JP LRP-07 for competition but adding my 762-SDN-6 can when not competing. Competition limits brakes to 1" x 3".... I think the AAC brake is closer to 3/4" x ...

I have overcome the only shortfall of the Benelli M4!

To date, I have not had a more reliable shotgun than the Benelli M4. I have put more than 6000 rounds through the gun of every sort without a problem....and I don't clean it more than wiping down the outside of it once in a great while. The only real problem with the gun is the round capacity. Until...

Re: School me on Noveske

very nice. Can you advise barrel length and handguard length/make? That looks like a perfect fit - just enough barrel to work the suppressor mount and no more. 8" Noveske with an AAC Brake on it.... (the AAC flash hider should be renamed the "Tuning Fork" because anything that touche...

Re: what coal hits lands with the 110 vmax?

Dont worry too much about the 110VMAX not hitting the lands. Here is a 20 shot group (hand loads) I shot at 100 yards with a scope from a rest. The rounds are accurate.... note this group was not shot with the Aimpoint currently on the gun (I cant see that well anymore). https://files.me.com/jasonde...

Re: 300 blackout in high cap magazines

I have seen some/and read about some reliability issues with the new Surfire mags....dont get me wrong, they are great mags when used within design specs.... you can always use a coupled set of Magpul mags...ultra reliable, less $, and you can do a 1 second reload if practiced. https://files.me.com/...

Re: School me on Noveske

Here you can see the product of a Noveske build (FINALLY got the form 1 back). Everything on this weapon is top notch and rugged enough to take anywhere and survive anything you put it through. It shoots around 1 MOA with hand loads (have not tried the factory stuff yet) and I have about 500 rounds ...

Re: Optics opinion for the Model 7 AAC scout rifle

The Vortex PST 1-4 comes withe either an MOA or MIL reticle.....it is a very good scope that can be used to address bullet drop. One look at this scope and you will be convinced....great glass and a great reticle.

8" Noveske barrel. These may go supersonic in longer barrels, but stayed subsonic in my 8" barrel and shot better groups with all loads than other lengths and powder weights did from my barrel. 208gr was a toss up in group size from 10.5gr and 11.2gr with both having 3 rounds in almost on...

I am curious how long the AAC to dealer takes these days. Assuming the can is in stock....what is the reasonable range of time? Thanks for any help. Form 3's have been rediculous this year, I've seen some go 5, 6, 8 weeks... Only gonna be worse this fall with Michigan becoming legal. OK so if I put...
