Re: ACC REBAR CUTTER , redux
well well well. http://www.rainierarms.com/?page=shop/detail&product_id=3432 The set screw is a deal breaker for me. I would be VERY tempted by this if it used the normal mount instead of that screw. :-( C'mon AAC -- give us an existing internal mount with just enough external shrouding to get ...

If you ever know that you're going to be near Atlanta, let me know and we can set up some range time.Broken11B wrote:Amish, I'm in Columbia, SC, right by Ft. Jackson.

Re: Who has the 1:7 9in AAC 300 BLK in stock?
B&H Police Supply In Merritt Island ,Fl has them in stock or gets them all the time. $1080 is what they charge I believe. I just checked their site... Even the non-LE page gives the impression they don't want to talk to you if you don't have a badge. Not to worry - I also couldn't figure ...

Re: Prodigy - problems opening it up to clean.
Channel Locks and a cushioning material didn't cut it. Well, the cushioning material got cut nicely, but other than that, no positive results. My cheap takedown can opened right up, but not the nice one. :? I've dropped some oil down the inside from both ends and am letting it set for a while, rotat...

Re: Prodigy - problems opening it up to clean.
Yes - it is one of the original Prodigy models, and no, it has never been back for any updates. As for the QD mount, the question I was asking... if i get a newer core that no longer has the QD threading, will I have any problems using it with a QD threaded barrel or barrel adapter? It looks like it...

Prodigy - problems opening it up to clean.
I pulled my prodigy out of the safe, and when I went to clean it out, I found that it wouldn't unscrew. A little searching brought up some tools to open it with, ( http://www.silencershop.com/shop/aac-prodigy-disassembly-tool ) ... but it shows 8 splines, and mine has twenty-some...?? Is that pic ba...

Note that the SPR/M4 extends about half an inch behind the rear face of the QD mount. (at least it does on mine). You need to factor that in to the min barrel length. Somewhere on here is a pic I took that shows all the relative distances between components for the SPR/M4 setup. Do a little math and...

I have a NP3'd Beretta 96. The rails run like butter and the gun cleans up with a rag. It also shows no wear from the few hundred rounds I put through it before packing it away. I don't know how it would hold up to a .223 can, but I have high confidence that it will work nicely on a .22 can. Do you...

Some people seem to have little vise jaws at the ends of their hands. Me, I must have little girly hands because I needed to use a wrench to get my hider out of the can. Why is it an odd thing to ship the hider in the can? It keeps the parts together, reduced the packaging space needed, and guarante...
