Re: Cycling issues with Saker 762
I just got my new SiCo Saker 762 and took it out to the range for the first time today. The host weapon is a 10.5" ar pistol with regular buffer and spring, and m16 style bolt carrier, both Magpul and Lancer mags were used. Ammo used was pmc brass 55gr. I sighted the rifle in with slow shots f...

Re: Silencerco's Maxim Vice Event Pictures! Check in!
Do you recall SiCo specifically stating the Hybrid is GTG up to .338L? A few other attendees or at least the posts are reporting .458SOCOM/45-70Gv't. By the way, thanks for taking the time to attend and to report back. Your reviews are instrumental to a lot of our decision making. SilCo e-blast sai...

Still want to see that video of the sparrow with the 5.56!
I shot a .22 shotshell through a sparrow with no ill effects. No lead shot rolling around either. Still wouldn't recommend it. It was an accident; I had a bunch of random .22 mixed in a bucket.

very bleak view. What I wrote where just what ifs. If you feel that government employees are all goose-steppers then nothing I can say will resonate. The reality is that there are many pro gun people in the government & many that will become pro gun. The point was that its an easy way to get ca...

Re: Blowback on Optic
DD MK18 uppers are notoriously over-gassed as is. When you add a suppressor you are increasing the gas even more so keep that in mind. An adjustable gas block would be a nice thing to have for that upper. You should always shoot center-fire rifle cans dry. Other than that I would imagine the oil cou...

Re: What's the difference between the rifle suppressors?
Assuming I am going for 5.56 (maybe 300 AAC), what's the difference between the Silencerco suppressors? For example, the Omega and Specwar seem to have similar suppression capability (130db). What else should I be looking at when comparing these two options? Weight and length mainly as they both us...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AGkdo5eYtjE Check out the product teaser video they released. I see a harvester end cap for the saker. Re: Saker mounting options. New to this.
Honestly as tight as the Saker mount locks on I wouldn't hesitate to put a flash hider on your precision guns. It would be much easier then switching between the direct thread and trifecta mounting modules. Either way will work great though.

Re: Saker mounting options. New to this.
Suppressors usually fall in to two categories; Quick detach (QD) or thread on. Thread on are most common on pistol, rimfire and precision rifle applications. QD are common on centerfire rifle cans meant for heavy firing schedules like a carbine course, three gun, full auto etc. QD ensures your can do...

Could be host related as well. I've had hosts that unlock too quickly ring my ears with my 9mm osprey. (G19 and HK USP) Other hosts like my Beretta 92fs are scary quiet.

Harvester at 11oz and almost $400 less. Limited to slow rate of fire, ie no 308 ar in the future. can you please clarify, is the harvester not ok for AR10 or other .308's on the AR platform? It will do fine on a AR10 provided that it isn't an SBR and you limit your fire rate to 10 rounds per minute...

Octane was not on my radar. What are the advantages of the Octane over the Osprey? You can't clean the Osprey yourself. ( stupid) Octane is stronger , easy to clean and more versatile .
