Re: Griffen reece 7 vs Thunder Beast Ultra 9CB

I have a 30P1 also and really love shooting it I dont think it could get much better. But before I had 100 rounds through it (winter time) the ultra 9 came out and it is about 4 or 5 db quieter, that thing has to be amazing. What length barrel are you getting those velocities out of they seem a litt...

I love my Mark 23 and Osprey, it just works and looks like a matched set. Customer service at Silencerco was always top notch anytime I needed them.

Thunderbeast ultra no question. It is more than 3db quieter than the 30P1 and lighter.

NO you can change barrels and uppers at will, but you do need to keep the original configuration on hand, so that you could theoretically put it back as described on the form.

Need Help cleaning or jail breaking an AAC Phoenix

Well my first suppressor was an AAC Phoenix it is a .22 caliber integral suppressor built on a Ruger MkII. I have literally fired thousands of rounds through it and its gotten quite a bit louder over the 15 or so years since I have owned it. I hear about spraying this or soaking that and if it were ...

Problem loading .45ACP

I have a Dillon 650 that's probably 20 years old have loaded literally 10's of thousands of rounds on it and updated it over the years. I recently encountered a problem where the bullets seem to be going into the case slightly cocked to the side which causes the case to be dented or bulged when it c...

Re: Getting my Osprey 40 tomorrow....what to do before range

shoot a few rounds of whatever ammo you are going to use on paper before attaching the suppressor just to make sure that it is not keyholing. If it does keyhole you run the risk of a baffle strike. Other than that take a little water with you so you can try shooting it wet too!

Re: Silencerco 22 Sparrow vs AAC 22 Element

I haven't been as happy with the Silencerco service/response as some people. Emailing Silencerco via their website is like firing a photon off into space. Weeks ago I wanted to know if there was any issue firing 45 Super through the Osprey 45, no response. Since last week you can't add the XL 5x28 ...

Yea I know this may sound archaic but scouting is in part about teaching boys to be men, homosexuality seems counterproductive to that goal to me. So don't pick an effeminate scout leader. Right now, even if they were the best for the job, the choice is not yours to make. You are forbidden to consi...

Re: Utah shooters spark 20 wildfires -- and a gun rights con

Funny, thing is I had a small grass fire this weekend that started from shooting tracers out of my 300 blackout. Thankfully I put it out without much issue but I was surprised that it even occurred it was about 6 feet in diameter and green grass was burning.

Well scratch what I posted yesterday. I noticed in the tacking info that they sent me that the weight seemed pretty low. So I asked what was up. Turns out the barrel they sold me was back ordered as well. So I am looking at a 2 month wait for that as well. If they had bothered to tell me this I may...
