Spikes Havoc launcher needed
Im looking for a Spikes 37mm 9" launcher for our Veterans Non-Profit Charity, trying to find who has the best price on them. I know I'm local to Spikes but the guy I took over for told me that they werent into offering any discounts to anyone, especially Veterans Charities, he never told me why...

Re: Choke Threading the Serbu Super Shorty
I'm looking into buying a SSS, how are they compared to a SBS? I shot one a long time ago but cant remember much about it. I was looking at a 10" Remington 1100 or the SSS. I know about the AOW vs SBS stamp difference but want a truck toy. I have seen how useful a shotgun is Vehicle to vehicle ...

The YHM lower is pretty nice looking, I have never gone for billet lowers because of the weight but if it says YHM on it I think it adds an extra pound :D . I have a few of their rails and a few brakes, their stuff is nicely made, usually its heavy because of the materials they choose of their way o...

Re: Hi-Tek coated bullets and leading?
I have been curious about this for a while, I am a board member and director of shooting sports for a Wounded Veterans Charity, currently we're down to a rimfire and a single Rifle can (Pistol and other rifle can were stolen recently) so I was looking for a serviceable rifle can so we could use it f...

Not sure, I'm starting to get tired of crazy claims in the industry.

I was recently made the National director for shooting sports of a Wounded Veterans non-profit and I'm starting to realize that there is a need for all forms of hunting. I had to recently get a S&W R8 for a guy to hunt with during deer season because the wheelchair he uses is only able to have a...

no worries, we try to stay positive here, its hard to get used to if your coming from other boards but I think you'll see that its a better environment. Most people on here do this as a business or get very involved in one of the most expensive stamp collecting clubs in the US.

I really am not interested in getting my SOT because of the ITAR thing now....I just wanted to make some SBR's and make the mounts for Wheelchairs for Wounded Vets at no profit but with ITAR involvement, its not worth it.... ITAR registration opens you up to international prosecution so no way im do...

yeah, my friends are kinda an exclusive group, mostly made up of people I have been in firefights with, climbed mountains with, forded rivers with or had my back while in extended car chases with them. Its hard to join the group and theres only one way out... Ok, but what's that have to do with e-f...

osprey 45, havent shot it with 300aac yet but with the 45 is nice, wish it was smaller and serviceable but its good for the 45. I only have 3 cans right now and my main concern is hearing loss or triggering a Flash back for some guys.... I had a flash back triggered the first time I shot full auto w...

thank you my friend, I'm just re-focusing my life to helping vets that just need someone to talk to, just someone to go fishing with or to the range to have a good day in the pile of crappy ones.

My form 1 I got back in june took 5 months as well, almost 6...like a few days short of 6. I'm gonna wait a little while before I do another one, I need the cash right now for impulse buying before the elections. I'm building a few AR's as gifts this year for democrat friends so I'm stressed ...

didnt think CO had hogs.... if your in FL PM me maybe we can hunt sometime. I have a few tactics to route an entire sounder (10-15 hogs) with 3 guys. we used to do it every weekend but sadly I'm the only one left out of our trio... Risk of hunting with fellow vets, the suicide rate is very high.

Need host for 300AAC bolt gun for Veterans Non-Profit
I'm trying to buy another host for the Non-Profit I am a part of and need it to be threaded because I need to be able to not damage the hearing of the Veterans. I have a few guys who have sustained facial wounds and cant wear hearing protection because of the shape of their heads after surgery. I ha...

I have a 18" Savage and a 22" and 24 and 26" all 308's, the 18" is a really handy rifle but the profile is a little heavy for climbing mountains or walking real far. I would vote for a 20" sporter if you walk a lot or have a lot of hills. if its going to be a tree stand rifl...

Re: Why yes, my Omega has gone MAAD!
The MAAD mount is the best product they have, I wish they would stop using the 3 hands and a foot the lock down specwar mount. The Saker is awesome because you just twist it a half turn and its locked in. I'm gonna check that out, I was looking at doing the same thing, I want to build a 458 SBR for ...

First you get really, really excited about shooting it, then you squeeze the trigger oh so slowly, then just before it goes pop you....ok, couldnt resist, at least I waited until they had a real answer.

Re: Scorpion questions
I really wanted to avoid using an adapter or turning my cheaper than a reliable 9mm AR into a money pit, I'll just buy a new Suppressor (Not Silencerco this time) with the right thread or trade the scorpion away to someone else who wont suppress it. its a nice system but the bone heads didnt look at...

Was interested in those Aero mounts but they look fragile next to my Larue, Alamo and Spuhr's would love to put it on my 300AAC SBR with a 1-6 Vortex, gotta be really lightweight. I was given a 308 lower and am thinking about building it out and buying another to SBR (The one I was given is a PSA an...

thank you, I'll try it. Just received my new grip for the scorpion and love it, it fits the wheelchair mount very well and should be able to get more leverage with it also. The Yeti works Everest is very nice indeed. I look forward to finding a suppressor adapter next, Silencerco doesnt make a way t...

Re: Anyone suppress an M60?
I agree, I started with the M60 in 1991 in Basic, hated it through every deployment and was glad when we started getting 240's, the 249, I'm not a fan because they jammed alot. The Mk48 however I loved but it was a tooth rattler but still smoother than the M60. Even sitting next to one on a Door whe...

If the threads aren't coated in some way or finished they will seem a little gritty or if there is media from blasting in them. I'd contact them, the ones I have seen here locally were very nicely finished. I know most companies dont spend a lot of time on rimfire finishes but Im certain Mike does. ...
