Re: Project "Fatboy" is making progress.

8 months later. And just for a size comparison. https://s15.postimg.org/l6t84jd23/DSCF7824.jpg I suppose there's something to be said about "girth". LOL. I'm currently trying to decide on "length or girth" for a suppressor on my 300 BLK pistol (eventual SBR). I imagine int...

Re: Converting fake can made by Tac Ord

Yes, I have a lathe, mil, surface grinder, press and air tools. Just no CNC capability. I'm NOT intending to use the front section. I'm just asking anyone that knows how it's attached to the rear piece. That's all.

Besides, I would rather do a steel can. I don't know the legalities for sure on this, but I wasn't wanting to do an...

Re: Converting fake can made by Tac Ord

Thx Vette

I'm mainly interested in utilizing the acme threaded rear section, not trying to bore out the fake front piece. I'm just trying to figure out how the two are attached. The acme section also has a few spring loaded detents that catch on notches in the flash hiders. A nice setup.

Disassembling a fake can made by Tac Ord

Hi all. Been reading the forum for over a year now, but this is my first post. Glad to be a member. :D As many know, MI has finally allowed suppressors, as of a week or so ago. I'm looking to fabricate my own on a Form 1, since I have machining capability (non-CNC anyway). Here's my question though....
