Re: 30 cal can - all you need to make one
Actually bought the caps that way. so im not real sure.. What did you knurl the endcaps with? That pattern looks interesting. I have tools that do straight ridges or diamond pattern but haven't seen the dots. Hold off clipping the cones. You might find that you're perfectly pleased with its perform...

Re: 30 cal can - all you need to make one
The compression on the baffle stack keeps the cones all perfectly centered & perpendicular to the tube. Once the end caps are torqued, they have no choice but to be 'right'. is exactly what I was asking... Thanks What do you mean by 'lined up"? How do all the clipped potions stay facing the...

Re: 22lr can for 4" barreled Buck Mark pistol
Not on the list but I love my tac-65 :) and I have it on my buckmark with a paclite barrel. If you want to seriously upgrade its performance, send it to John Titsworth at X-Caliber. Mine came back with 7 Genesis SS baffles. What a difference in cleaning and performance. Best $$ I've spent on NFA. c...

Just curious if anyone has purchased one? How do they stack up against others? If its ok to post a link let me know and I will link the site.
Thanks

Re: Changing the caliber and length on Form 1
Old logic was to always list it a little larger than you thought it would be as a silencer shorter than the approved length is ok in BATFE mindset as repairs are allowed. Recently there have been writings about that BATFE says use best guess and if it ends up different after construction to notify ...

Re: Drilling jig for monocore
Or you could just make a simpler jig with one hole for the main cavity, another for the outer weight savings/coaxial volume. Make it maybe 3" long and secure it to your mill table. Clamp your stock securely into it and start cutting metal, shifting it in the little jig as you need. There's no ...

Drilling jig for monocore

Re: 308 316 Stainless Clipped Cone Sealed build
How did you etch it? I understand the vinyl but what process and how long did it take? I use a 50/50 blend of vinegar and salt water, my battery charger and q-tips. Similar to this video. It takes about 20 minutes to get a deep enough etch. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bV-PItEcLXY Cool thank you...
