Awesome Customer Service From AAC!
I have an old M4-1000, and as some of you probably know, the attachment method it used wasn't the best. It used a spring that just sat in the valley on there 18T mount and was just held in place with friction. Well over time the metal on the pring just grinds away and will get flat and stop holding....

Re: Armt looking to replace the M4 and 5.56mm as the standard infantry weapon.
I've heard similar stuff regarding a new intermediate cartridge, but nothing official. This seems to be an official replacement program soliciting gun manufacturers for weapons. The Army is a bit ADD when it comes to this stuff, but there hasn't been an official bid solicitation for what you're talk...

Armt looking to replace the M4 and 5.56mm as the standard infantry weapon.
http://www.popularmechanics.com/military/weapons/news/a27651/us-army-m4-carbine-replacement/ It's that time of the year when we see the Army yet again waist money looking for a new weapon they will never adopt. I hate to be cynical about this but we have seen soooo many programs to replace the M16/M...

Re: Stupidity doesn't pay
The news articles were less than clear about how he was making those ARs and I didn't read anything about no serial numbers. Maybe I missed that. And while he was charged with 3 counts of possession of silencers or something along those lines that doesn't actually mean that he didn't have a tax stam...

Re: Stupidity doesn't pay
Read the article again. He did not flash his gun in a schoolyard. He was stopped leaving the area because they had a search warrant for his premises. You are right however about his business cards. That being said if he was in another state that wouldn't have been a problem and I don't find what he ...

Poikilotrm. I like you. I've been reading your posts for a while now and I can't seem to remember on I disliked. And you know when to apologize... and when not to. Good on you.

Also was this a gun-free zone, i.e. no concealed carry? In Florida you cannot carry concealed in any establishment that has a primary source of income be alcohol. 790.06(12)(a) A license issued under this section does not authorize any person to openly carry a handgun or carry a concealed weapon or...

Suppressing an M1A
What all goes into suppressing an M1A? I know that you need to change the gas block for one that has a dove-tale for the front sight... anything else?
And what would be the cost for a project like this?

Re: SDN6 or Omega?
I'll definitely keep all this in mind. Right now it looks like the omega is inching out. But now I have one more question. Some of you have mentioned durability and how the omega isn't as durable as other cans... How are you measuring this and what could I realistically expect for the omega shooting...

SDN6 or Omega?
I'm saving up for my next purchase finally. God, it's been too long... I'm looking at getting the AAC 9" MPW and a 762 can to go with it. I'm really looking at two options but I'd be open for other opinions as well. Currently I'm trying to decide between the SDN6 and the Omega? I've been lookin...

762 / 300 blk question
I'm looking ahead at my next purchase and think I'm gonna go for the AAC 9" MPW. I also have a Rem 700P LTR but no 762 can. I was looking at the 762-SD and the 762-SDN-6 and was wondering what I should go with and if the N6 was worth the extra money over the new 762SD which is four hundred doll...

I have a nice Eberlestock operator pack. Love it and it gives me the option of bringing an extra long gun with me so I don't have to choose just one.

GoingQuiet, I certainly wouldn't worry too much about all the negative responses about your actions. As a few others have said, All you did was sell a product to a customer that was satisfied enough with the price you gave him. That is good customer service and the basics of commerce and capitalism....

Re: Interesting Business Article on AAC
Very interesting. As far as Kevin making the deal in the first place, I think it was probably smart. Remington has a lot of resources and probably can expand the market for silencers. That being said any time a company changes hands, there will be changes and the AAC we all knew and loved will be di...

Re: Noob wanting info on suppressors for P07 Duty 9mm
I know this is a little bit old but there are really a lot of great 9mm suppressors on the market. I would do a little more research then to ask "what can is the best?" Some companies to look at are AAC, Liberty, Silencer Co. as well as others. As long as you are getting a quality can from...
