Silencerco Omega Direct Thread Issue
I'm using my Omega in direct thread mode on my 300 BLK SBR, and the issue I'm having is that often times when I go to remove the can from the rifle, rather than the entire can unscrewing from the barrel, the body of the can unscrews itself from the direct thread mount, and I then have to remove the ...

I haven’t tried them side by side yet, but the 9mm with subs seems louder than my suppressed .308 bolt gun with supers.YugoRPK wrote:Yep, Theyre not as quiet as theyre made out to be. Stounds about like a pneumatic nail gun and they arent exactly quiet either. Gets even louder from a 9mm AR.

Re: Pistol Suppressor Reliability Issue
Another 60 rounds today of 147gr Speer Gold Dots and Federal HST, no problem at all. I was a little surprised at how loud they are though, considering they’re sub sonic.

Question...should the teeth on the front end of the piston be lubed as well? They seemed to have quite a bit of wear.

Pistol Suppressor Reliability Issue
I just acquired an AAC Illusion 9mm, and today I went to test it on a Gen4 G17 with a Silencerco threaded barrel. First, I tested the gun without the can to ensure the barrel is reliable, and it is with several different types of ammo I tested. Then, I attached the can, and immediately had failure t...

Re: Ultrasonic Cleaning - Sparrow & OBII
Ok, so I will leave the aluminum OBII parts out. Will give the 50/50 purple power/water solution a try, with heat. Thanks.

Re: Ultrasonic Cleaning - Sparrow & OBII
Make sure it's distilled water and not tap. Keep things like chlorine, ammonia, etc. out of your tank. The ultrasonic accelerates damage every bit as fast as it accelerates cleaning. Cleaning is really nothing more than controlled damage anyway. Frequency also matters and can make a big difference ...

I only ultra my baffles, clamshells, and every so often the cap. The tube just needs a brushing with a 12g brush.

Ultrasonic Cleaning - Sparrow & OBII
I purchased the 2.5l ultrasonic cleaner from Harbor Freight. What solution, duration, and heat is recommended for the SS Sparrow, and Gemtech Outback II internals? My OBII baffles are aluminum, but have been hard coat anodized. Thanks.

YHM Phantom - Slight Play?
I just picked up my 7.62 Ti Phantom (QD) this past weekend, and trying it on both of my hosts, one with the flash suppressor mount and the other with the brake mount, I've noticed that if I screw the can on as far as it goes (until the ratcheting stops), the four notches on the ring "shoulder&q...

Re: Threading Barrels?
Perhaps, but I did exchange a few emails with him before sending the pistol in, explaining what suppressors I had and he made it sound like it would be gtg. In all fairness, from what i hear, the guy does really great work for the most part. He just rubbed me the wrong way.

Re: Threading Barrels?
Until recently I would have recommended ADCO, but due to my recent issue with him, I now recommend against. Could you PM me the specifics of your problem?? I was considering using ADCO for sevberal threading jobs and would like to hear your review. It's for the most part explained here. http://www....

Re: Help w/ Sparrow and Ruger Mark III
I emailed ADCO and his response was "different cans, different specs" and suggested I use a few nylon washers..... Interesting response. The muzzle of your pistol is hitting the o-ring and not giving you the correct engagement. Be careful as you could experience an end cap strike. Ask me ...

Does the Sparrow screw onto the S&W M&P22 O.K. that you show in your one photo? I'm curious as I have an M&P 22 and just getting ready to send in forms for the Sparrow. Yes, the Sparrow fits properly on the M&P, however that's a Gemtech adapter pictured. Thanks for the reply. I've g...

Do you have a link for the thinner spacer? The only one I see on the website is the one I have.Fireman1291 wrote:Have ADCO shorten the barrel and recrown or buy the thin spacer from silencershop.com
Its for a M&P AR15-22 but it's half the thickness of the one you have now.

Re: Help w/ Sparrow and Ruger Mark III
Looks to me like the barrel threads are too long -- how long are they? With the Sparrow's o-ring, anything much longer than .400" causes a problem (unless it's cut to SilencerCo spec w/ the o-ring seat, of course.) I have the same issue with a Savage rifle that has threads roughly .480" l...
