Re: What sound suppresion level constitue a silencer?
I'd assume the worst, being that the ATF does not believe you as the maker or the owner of such a device, believing instead that there is an attempt to mislead them regarding the intent of the design. Assume that and proceed with caution. If you get busted in possession of a device which they state...

Ditto on the box magazine. I wonder why they went with rotary. Is there a way to convert?

Re: Please advise regarding first suppressor purchase.
Since you want full auto my vote is definitely saker. I own one and love it.
You will need another can for .22. Any take apart can will do. Spectre 2 and The Octane series are popular. Liberty Essence is worth a long look as well.
I own all of those as well.

Re: Will Hayden (Sons of Guns) arrested - Child Molestation
I am absolutely not going to assume it is true until proven so. Especially if it has to do with any kind of custody case. Two of my friends' ex-wives claimed molestation during their divorce proceedings. I don't believe either of them - it was all part of their plan to legally steal more money from...

Re: Preventing baffle strikes
I use a home made alignment rod made from tool steel. Super easy to make. $3 for most calibers is adequate. Photos and specs here: http://nfatalk.org/forum/showthread.php?t=10177 It's already saved one can from destruction. A sliver of steel in the threads is all it takes to misalign the can. I use ...

I love it how the red headed step child liberty is #1 and the most expensive option is dead last.

Re: Would a 6" Sparrow make the Spectre obsolete?
I called SilencerCO a few years back and asked them if they could make me a 7 inch Sparrow, they explained to me that it wouldn't make enough difference in sound, they said its the perfect size for the lowest suppression level they could reach. I'm new to suppressors so forgive the ignorance but ho...

Re: Realistic demand for new silencer manufacturer
All I know is that nobody makes a quick attach 300 BLK take apart suppressor. Nobody makes a large volume integral .22 LR for the AR15. I just paid for custom work to be done. It's monocore and I'd prefer baffle stack to handle the lead. Nobody makes liberty style cans with baffle stacks instead of ...

Re: Best plans that I can have built for .300BLK & .223
I went saker 5.56 and Liberty Mystic with 3 lug mount for 300 blackout. I'm happy. Saker 7.62 is a fine choice but subsonic 300BLK bullets are expensive. I will either cast or buy Missouri Cast bullets. That means take apart can is needed unless you are willing to risk powdercoat on a sealed can. D...

Cool idea. I have a liberty constitution. If you want to send me ammo I'll be more than happy to shoot it and take before / after photos of the baffles. I'll be happy to send you cash for the ammo parts. I have a 75 grain NOE and ACE mold I'm waiting on that this would be perfect for. She I get thos...

Great for suppressor folk. Powder coat to reduce leading in suppressors. MiHec makes good stuff. On par with NOE molds.

Re: 9mm can
I have octane 9 , 45 , liberty mystic and Osprey. Octane 9 is my go to pistol can Mystic on 300 BLK. 3 lug mount rocks! Osprey is cool but not take apart. 45 is doable on 9mm but 9mm can is a noticeably better fit. If I had liberty infinity it might compete against the Octane for pistols. Dunno.... ...

I have a never fired sparrow in jail right now. Let me know if I should keep it clean. I have 2 other 22 cans so that should be easy.
