Re: Need threaded barrel for Glock 19
If you can't find a 19 threaded barrel look at a 17 and have it threaded. Any good gunsmith or silencer guy should be able to do it. A G17 barrel will NOT work in a G19 without MAJOR modifications. The barrel dimensions are different where the barrel locks up into the ejection port and the lug is c...

Order direct from Lone Wolf: http://www.lonewolfdist.com/Detail.aspx?PROD=939&CAT=237 It's $125 + Shipping, a bit more if you want it black. If you haven't ordered the suppressor yet, let alone sent any paperwork in, chances are your barrel will show up long before you ever receive the silencer...

I used a 5 1/4" barrel from Zimmerman arms. .920 fluted and threaded. He sells them on eBay pretty regular.

Re: First time Form 4's. Sent 2 in but only one check cashed
I wouldn't be overly concerned at this time. I'd give them several weeks for things to sort out. Demand and NFA purchases are high right now. Usually your paperwork is kept together pretty much. Say what you will about BATF; but they are pretty consistent on keeping the paperwork in order and proce...

Re: Local smith won't thread my ranch hand.
Found a guy to thread it about an hour and a half away, I took it down to a barreled receiver and he is going to thread it and make the adapter as Bender suggested. So, the mag tube will not need to be shortened, as the shoulder on the adapter will be almost where the end of the muzzle is now. Thank...

I have a 5/8 x 24 adapter for my mystic, would it be better to have that thread than 1/2 x 28? Bender, any advise?zeeew wrote:You might consider going 5/8 threads, with the correct adapter.

Re: Local smith won't thread my ranch hand.
I don't understand how the wall could be too thin, look at say a glock barrel. But hey, if a smith tells me he can't do it, I definitely don't want to press him to. :? I am going to do some more looking around DFW, if anyone has a local to DFW, TX they would recommend let me know. If not I guess I w...

Rossi Ranch Hand
Took my .357 ranch hand to the local smith and he said there was not enough meat on the barrel to thread? I have seen them threaded on here. Any good smiths that have/will do the ranch hand? Also advise on how to ship to a smith (1st timer).

Re: ATF position on changing length of upper on SBR lower
My dealer has stated that it is illegal for me to place my 10.5" upper on my 12.5" lower and will not condone it. They state that if it were a 12.5" upper going on a 10.5" lower, it would be fine. Further, they state that to make what I want to do "okay", I need to sub...

My sparrow flew home!!!
Here is a rundown of the purchase process for my recent silencer purchase. 5-23-12 I purchased the SS Sparrow online in the afternoon. 5-25-12 I had all my paperwork in hand from the SilencerShop, signed them and forwarded the packet to the ATF. 5-30-12 ATF cashed my check. 6-21-12 Went pending. 11-...

I've been looking at one in my LGS for a while, my Mystic won't be in until Feb. or March but I am getting afraid if I don't jump on it that I'll miss out. Still a little torn between the Ruger and the .357 Handi rifle though.

Re: accuracy of NFA TRACKER DOT COM?
according to NFA tracker, I should have gotten my stamp 3 weeks sooner. However, they average everyone, and some examiners are faster/slower than others, have more territory, etc., etc... I think it gives a window, but with limited data, the output is limited as well. Some states get stamps faster t...

It is legal to own extra pistons, but not the springs or rear caps, as those are silencer parts. Thats why noone sells springs or rear caps but they do the thread adapters(pistons) Then how was I able to buy two different whole boosters (booster, spring housing and cap 1/2x28 and 13.5 lh) for my li...

Re: Dedicated 38 special rifle
I have a ranch hand I will be having threaded, but I was wondering if there would even be any advantage in accuracy to have it dedicated to 38? I found some 38 special barrel blanks from green mountain, but that is beyond my capability and probably expensive.
