Form 1 removed from eForms?
I've been pursuing other hobbies for the last few years but just logged in to do a new form 1... but it's not an option. I can't find anything official from the ATF saying they removed it. My options are: 5330.3A Form 6 Part 1 5330.3C Form 6A 5320.2 Form 2 5320.3 Form 3 5320.9 Form 9 5320.10 Form 10...

Re: This really is a silenced pistol
Right? I'm no lawyer but it seems pretty clear. A silencer has to be a device that diminishes the report of the firearm. That's like calling the Aguila powderless ammo a "silencer" because it makes less noise.doubloon wrote:I like your interpretation.bigbigpig wrote:How could the round be an NFA item? ...

Re: This really is a silenced pistol
How could the round be an NFA item? As stated in the definition... any device for silencing, muffling, or diminishing the report of a portable firearm, including any combination of parts There is no device that diminishes the report of the firearm. With this pistol and this round that is the report ...

John Titsworth will do it. I forget the name of his company but he said for $150 he would do my Bobcat .22. I would think he'd do a .32 as well since either way you have to put a collar on it. PM him, his name is his user name here.

Bigbigpig... how does that setup sound compared to any "normal" 9mm can on a 9mm host? Sorry if I mislead you to think that was my picture... I was only posting a picture from the link I provided to DeGroat's website. I had bookmarked some of these links when I was considering doing a P23...

It was back in 2012 but James DeGroat said he still does them. Might want to reach out to him to see if he still takes on that kind of work.

If you're only generating revenue to recover the costs of operating the site then tell us what it costs to operate and I'm sure we as a group can come up with the money to support it. Then this site can return to it's gun-selling profanity-laden glory.

Re: Nikki Haley is About to Make Taking Loaded Guns into Bar
I don't think I understand the concept on "signing into law" a bill that allows something, like carrying in bars. Laws aren't used to grant permissions are they? If there is a law against carrying in bars then wouldn't you just repeal that law? Also, while I agree with less restriction (re...

Dang that looks sharp. I'll take one. The video looked like a pretty bad mismatch in the finish between the barrel and tube. Hopefully the ones going out will be better.

Re: Any recommendations for a 300 Win Mag screw on supressor
I run an SWR Omega 300 and it's great, but if I were choosing again now I'd probably go with the Silencerco Harvester. At 11.3oz and $750 MSRP I think it's pretty attractive. Only thing I don't like is that it's 1.375" OD instead of 1.5" or larger. For aesthetics only I prefer at least a 1...

Saw that too... 2 pics with a suppressed M4 and Luttrell had it in both. However, in the Op detailed in the book and movie none of the M4's had suppressors as it was told. http://www.mattaxelson.com/album/afghanistan/images/S1&2%20-%20RANGE.jpg http://www.mattaxelson.com/album/afghanistan/images...

As good as they were with getting the weapons right in that movie I was surprised to see a Beretta M9. In 2005 the SEALs had Sig P226's. Not that it takes away from the film though. They did an incredible job.

Re: Lone Survivor
I never saw any cans on the M4's. What they had were 2 MK12's and 2 M4's. Marcus and Axe had MK12's, and those are Ops Inc 12th suppressors. Murphy and Dietz had M4's without suppressors. Other scenes may have shown MK18's which use KAC NT4's. If you're interested, here is a link to Matt Axelson's p...

Lol, exactly. They get whatever equipment they want, and already have damn nice silencers, but they're going to use silencers built in an auto repair shop made from internet plans?Tango2249 wrote:They were for SEAL Team 6...WTF?

Re: Up to $800.00 for a spark plug change?
I have a 2007 F150 KR and just had mine done. I paid 12 bucks each at O'Reilly Auto Parts and gave a Ford mechanic $50 to do it on the side, and he did it right there in the dealership's garage. It runs so much better now. And to counter some of the Ford bashing... I love my F150. It splits time wit...

I've always liked the Ops lineup and hope that Ron has success with this company. I would like to see his current lineup take a cut in weight... 21 and 25oz for 5.56 and 7.62 cans is a little heavy.
Is he affiliated with Spikes? The 300 BLK Spikes can looks like an Ops mount.

I don't know where you live or what kind of police encounters you have but most of them I've talked to are friendly and don't harass like this. Some are dickheads but so are some doctors, architects, teachers, electricians, stay-at-home moms, etc.

180 doesn't add up that easily in gym math, you probably meant 185 which is the bar and a 45+25 on each side. Seems petty for me to notice that but that's how my brain works. Sorry.

Re: Anyone work out much? I have a odd question.
Actually it doesn't really sound that far fetched. Sometimes I bring a friend with me to the gym as a guest and the guy will outweigh me by 50 pounds but struggles with 135 on flat bench. If you warm up with 205 then that's 90% of your body weight, which is like 140 for me which is about right. I've...

I may be reading that chart wrong... but I'm 160 lbs and if I lift 205 then that's a ratio of 1.28. Does that mean 95% of men in their 30's can lift at a higher ratio? That can't be right...

That'll be completely fine. 18" is fairly normal for a .308.
