Re: The executive action list.

I'm thinking this just proves what I said earlier -- they're playing the long game. If you haven't read this thread about Eric Holder's comments relating gun control strategy to the shaping of public opinion about cigarette smoking, you should take a moment to review it. They're laying out their str...

Re: The executive action list.

7, 12, 22, and 23 are potentially hazardous. I agree, but it's a lot worse than that. 2 is troublesome simply because I don't trust their judgement. 6 could simply be made prohibitively complex and expensive. 11 simply can't turn out well for us, given who is signing the order. 14 is smoke-and-mirr...

seems the only problem is that everyone has a different definition of a nut. I do agree though. I'll truck out this real-life personal example again. For most of my mother's early life she had some "stability" issues. They seemed to start going away around 45 or so, and these days she's a...

As far as I'm concerned, treat him like the Aurora shooter should have been treated.

No more coverage. No more mentions of his name.
No click-throughs to CNN, or to any news about him.
He deserves the total (and literal) persona non grata treatment.

F--k him.

FL bill to outlaw domestic drone spying

If they have the backbone for this, maybe they'll get on the bandwagon with TX and WY about fighting civilian disarmament, too.

Kind of surprised the Texas bill says "semi-automatic handguns"... I guess they didn't feel that rifles warranted protection?

As if I needed another reason to avoid the Chinese junk-bins they call stores.

Exactly my point. No organization. No coordination. Anyone can claim to be acting on its behalf. Most people assume there is a lot more to it than is actually the case. In fact, it's often described with phrases like "hacker group," as if it's something or someone specific. The media loves...

Digging up this thread to ask whether you ever pursued the SBR route with your CX4? I had a .45 CX4 for many years, but I wasn't happy with the magazine situation so I gifted it to my brother recently and bought a 9mm version. They're really fantastic guns. I never thought I'd see a .45 ACP that cou...
