If you do a standard lower that accepts 5.56 magazines you could theoretically swap out 9mm and .45 acp adapters. I'm not sure how practical this would be, I haven't really messed with them a lot.ncorry wrote:So, is there a way to build a lower that will accept Glock 9mm and Glock 45 mags?

Re: Personal Experiences on your 9mm AR SBR
Qc10 took over tooling and intellectual property from ddles when they went belly up. I have a ddles colt lower and like the setup. I've heard lots of good things about qc10 and I understand they're releasing a lower to work with mp5 mags as well as a 3.5" 9mm barrel (threaded 1/2x28). I went wi...

I thought Storm Lake sold a variety of Sig barrels? Their website has a sig option on the sidebar...but when you go to the product drop down it doesn't show sig.

Re: Form 1 for a MG
I'm not sure I understand the details surrounding the married sear gun. However, if you have a title i ar-15 and then submit a form 1 to make an SBR, I don't think there's any requirement that you put a short barrel on it in a given time frame. Why would this be any different in terms of modifying t...

I've never really tried shooting 9mm HP through a can. Are you trying to hunt 9mm without earpro or something?

Re: Using shims to time 51t brake
AAC makes a blackout and brake that positions the teeth forward a few mm. If you're really concerned about alignment, that might be the way to go.
Or is that only for the .30 mount?

Re: 762 Saker on SilCo website
The Trifecta flash hider or brake is 2.55" in length so when mounted the Saker 7.62 adds about 5" to that length. I do not know how AAC calculates their length added. Using a plain muzzle or A2 flash hider as the reference would change the calculated length. Send me one and I'll measure t...

Watch at around the 44 second mark on the video. It appears the trigger fires the rifle once when you pull it, and fires it again when you release.. I thought the same thing. Evidently they have an auto response setup for any inquiries that loosely describes the action. It's an assisted reset as de...

Re: Last day to be grandfathers in from new Trust rules?
If you can get a CLEO signoff then why do the pending changes matter? The other people on my trust (family members with no criminal background) don't want to be bothered with fingerprints, cleo signoff, photos, etc...each time I add something to the trust. I'll either need to drop most of them so I...

If it's done individual, I don't think you can transfer the item into your trust. I may be wrong about that though. Yes, he can. Its a taxed transfer though. $200 either way! If you have individual items you want in your trust and have a happy CLEO then I would transfer them into the trust to enjoy...

Re: Last day to be grandfathers in from new Trust rules?
Is it possible to cancel a transfer if you've submitted paperwork? I assume if you submit a form 1 or 4 today as a trust without the new requirements (fingerprints, cleo signoff, photo) and come December 10th (or whatever date it goes presumably goes live) they decide not to grandfather requests in ...

Re: Common sealed AR15 cans compared side by side
The Saker and Specwars use Stellite, a cobalt alloy, as the baffle material. The Specwars mount to SWR's version of Silencerco's Trifecta mount, which has a toothy base, but not sure if it's 51 teeth (doubt it, but I've not actually counted them). Updating the chart now. I see that is listed on the...

Could it not be the case that this rule change would have been pushed down by the Executive Branch with or without the NFATCA's petition? As posted above, the trust/background check issue was already gaining traction in the media (mostly due to Dorner) and Obama was already looking for some politica...

Hypothetically speaking....then could you put a safe in your dad's house with the suppressor in it; provided he didn't have access (key or combination) to open it? Or is that just asking for trouble?Bendersquint wrote:Yes, they do.LawBob wrote:Banks don't let u do that.

When you say "upgrade"...did you buy a second can outright. Or is there a trade-in program for trident owners that can get a discount on an octane 9 hd? From what I understand, they (swr) can't simply jailbreak/re-core an existing trident 9 (similar to what silencerco did with the with the...

That sucks, not sure how to help you get a hold of them. I ordered a ddles 9mm lower (non-glock mag model) + vltor upper in early May of last year.
