Re: The comment period for HObamas attack on the NFA has beg

In order to effectively argue the points presented to me, I'd have to educate my debate opponents. Given your current beliefs and stances despite the avalanche of evidence contrary to you, I don't know that you can be educated. You win. I don't know what you won, but you won it. --- I can't tell if...

Re: The comment period for HObamas attack on the NFA has beg

Fact is, the proposed regulations can still be changed, regardless of POTUS's apparent agenda. Pointing out problems with the new rules is exactly what we should be doing as citizens who will be affected by these changes. Having the attitude that all is lost and there is no recourse does not change...

Re: The comment period for HObamas attack on the NFA has beg

You're petitioning the man who has circumvented the will of the people by cutting out the people's representatives in lieu of EO. Where's the logic in your position? I hope that if enough people point out the flaws in the more onerous aspects of the new trust regulations, we may get the ATF to scal...

Re: The comment period for HObamas attack on the NFA has beg

You really seem to be getting worked up over this, judging from your repeated insults to those who don't share your opinion. Maybe you're the one showing your ignorance? That's clever. So which part of what I said do you disagree with? What evidence do you use to support that stance? You have absol...

Re: The comment period for HObamas attack on the NFA has beg

Wacki, I understand where you are coming from. While an executive order is by definition a unilateral action as trooper points out, it doesn't mean that we shouldn't voice our opinion to the Preesident so that he understands there is a vocal group of pro gun citizens out there. We should also be co...

From Thunder Beast 30P-1 description. What is that - or is it just marketing gibberish? The spiral flutes shown in the baffle pics thread. I have to disagree with this statement. If you research various patents by a gentleman named Gregory Latka his patents have adequate drawing. He was a founding ...

Re: What's your favorite AR can and why?

The Saker's mounting module isn't really intended to be constantly swapped out. Certainly not at the range every time you want to move it to a different host. The fact that it can be changed at all is remarkable, though, as no other rifle suppressor has this capability. You're less "locked in&q...

They may be absolutely correct, but after what transpired earlier this year, when the communists failed in their concerted effort to ban "assault weapons" and standard-capacity magazines. Huge difference between the Legislature trying to pass something and an Executive Action. HUGE differ...

Re: Will sumbitted F4's awaiting approval be grandfathered?

Ir's amazing on how people are worried about the transfers that are in the loop, instead of trying to do something so these proposals will be knocked down. Yeah, many are resigned to acceptance at this point, that these changes are destined to be implemented and that all you can do is hope that you...

Re: How solid are the various quick attach mounts?

They are all completely unreliable and come apart all the time. That's why they sell like hotcakes and everyone swears by them. Thread on 51T http://www.ar15.com/archive/topic.html?b=6&f=20&t=355956 silencershop talked about the problems on the previous 18T mounts. I just bumped a thread on...

Re: NFA eForms

So I went on a shopping spree in the last few weeks… On 09/03 I bought two cans. On 09/10 I bought two more On 09/16 I submitted two form 1’s to SBR a couple of lowers I did these all through the eforms website. I called them yesterday to verify that they were all pending (they are) and asked a que...

Re: The comment period for HObamas attack on the NFA has beg

Eform 3s are taking 2-3 weeks according to Silencershop. I'll let you know if that's the case, I'm one week into one from them now. You guys may be correct that comments will have no effect, but it is seriously discouraging to see the repeated suggestions not to bother. Even if you doubt the effecti...

Re: Common sealed AR15 cans compared side by side

The Saker and Specwars use Stellite, a cobalt alloy, as the baffle material. The Specwars mount to SWR's version of Silencerco's Trifecta mount, which has a toothy base, but not sure if it's 51 teeth (doubt it, but I've not actually counted them). Updating the chart now. I see that is listed on the...

Re: Form 4 in the mail today

Can't you just ask the dealer for the info? It looks like you can do a form 1 through eForms, but at the beginning of the form 4 flow, it appears to require an FFL. Not sure if there's a workaround for this, or if they have effectively disabled form 4s for non-FFLs through the eForms site... http:/...

Re: 90 day comment period ends 12/09/13

At the very least, won't they need to modify forms and put process changes in place? I'm not sure what to expect, but I'd think there will be a period between the approval of this abomination and when they can realistically implement the changes.

I'm running IE9 and tried using compatibility mode, and also tried Firefox 23, but got the same results in all cases. I might have an IE8 system here in our QA lab. NFA eForms

ATF notice:

https://www.atf.gov/sites/default/files ... 2013-2.pdf

ATF eForms site:

https://www.atfonline.gov/EForms/

For those who can submit a form 1/4 on a trust and don't require fingerprint cards, what effect will this ultimately have?
