Re: Using a Surefire SOCOM 7.62 Can on a 5.56?

Dump all your socom brakes and get the trifecta muzzle brakes which will cost new about what you can get for the socom brakes used. Then buy a 7.62 saker. Better mount system, quieter and it works on all their mounts that are damn near half the cost of surefire. The saker is 400 cheaper than the sur...

Sht gets a bit annoying, I am about to spray aerosol clear coat over all the walls.
Keep it in the drawer of the nightstand.

Ivr already got a regular sparrow and a warlock. I like the sparrows and am gping to buy another one. For 50 bucks more I might as well get one that looks cool and is different than my current one.

Re: Custom Liberty 300Blk SBR Can

wonder if dave would entertain a 45-70/458socom suppressor. I emailed about a month ago inquiring about a 458 socom suppressor and Dave said there wasn't enough interest at this time. There aren't many choices out there right now for the caliber so I feel like he could easily corner the market for ...

Really wish he wouldve kept the original lighter version. If he had I'd have one on order. Ive got plenty of other 30 cal cans, I want a short, fat and light can specifically for my 300blk. Does Dave still do one-off cans? Ive already got a 9" AAC with a specwar, I want a 6" barrel upper ...

Re: White Sparrow

Yes they make one. Its essentially bare stainless with a clearcoat. Its not actually white, the white theyre talking about is the raw machine finish. It is only available through dealers who deal with Acusport wholesalers. Unfortunately Silco has chosen to align themselves with a terrible wholesaler...

You didn't want to "poke the tiger" by failing to do something that there's not the faintest hint of any legal requirement to do? Not engraving your name on a suppressor you bought is "poking the tiger" in the same way that not painting your name on your car is. Just goes to sho...

Re: Buckmark vs 22/45, Spectre II vs Sparrow SS, my opinions

I agree with your assessment of the cans but like the pister above I'd have to disagree on the pistols. A set of hogue wrap around grips makes the ruger feel a million times better. You can delete the LCI in all of 30 seconds while you have the gun stripped down. Any number of places sells a bushing...

Re: Suppressed m&p 15-22

The bolt buffer did not increase the reliability. It works well with ans without the buffer. The buffer I made is cut from a 1/8 sheet of rubber. It fits behind the bolt and stays against the plastic bolt stop block. The bolt rails hold it in place. It's shaped like the profile of the bolt stop blo...

Re: YHM 7.62 TI QD Phantom Accuracy Issues

Just for kicks try this. With the same rifle and suspect YHM setup, blow into the bore breech after every shot, and see smoke exiting the can. Or use a can of compressed air so you don't have to shift your shooting position much. I'm almost willing to bet the grouping won't shift down after the 3rd...

Re: How short can one go with 300BLK?

Obviously subs will work fine out short barrels but kind of velocity hit are you taking on the shorter barrels. Ive got a 9" AAC right now and have been thinking about another upper build to use a Liberty Chaotic and would like to go as short as possible as well. What exactly are the issues wit...

Re: YHM 7.62 TI QD Phantom Accuracy Issues

Finally got in one of my Griffin Armament taper mount cans and after the results I saw this afternoon Id definitely say its something to do with the yhm products, whether I got a bum can or multiple bad mounts the issue is somewhere in that system and not the gun. The group on the left is without th...

Re: Surefire Mad Science Div: Something Wicked This Way Com

Considering the 5.56 saker has been out a while and the 7.62 version is damn near the exact same with the exception of being an inch longer and having a different blast baffle material. The 5.56 saker is widely considered to be a great can and performs as well or better than its surefire counterpart...

Have a buckmark with a trail-lite upper, and a 22/45 lite. I bought the volquarsten bushing/hammer/sear and trigger for the ruger, and I still think the buckmark trigger is better. The 22/45 lite trigger still has just a tiny amount of creep that annoys me. Accuracy.. they're both pretty nice I wou...

Guess I'm just having trouble understanding how its better than the ruger. Ive shot both and my ruger blows the buckmark away in accuracy and trigger feel especially now that theyve got the lite series. Huh. My buckmark camper is probably the most accurate pistol I own. It is far more accurate than...

Very nice I've been looking at this one for a while. Can you give the specs on the rifle itself? Specifically the barrel make, length and the length of the fortis rail.
