Re: Beer on Election Day

Perhaps polling places should be held at reputable drinking establishments.

I know I would enjoy drinking with others while watching the results roll in.

Gun safes/vaults

Well I'm posting this here because I feel that it fits. I'm in the market for a new safe, I'm the owner of two safes now. One is a 36 gun stack on "total defense" and the other is a 24 gun Winchester ts-22-11. I'm looking to sell both and buy a bigger and better safe to replace them. I was looking a...

Re: When my parents found out They Flipped out

if you want to stay in the house, then i'd say you would have to move out of the master bedroom...why on earth your parents would agree with that is beyond me. Also, you need to start paying more for rent. Quit being a leech and help pay the bills or move out. I understand that paying full rent for ...

Re: Concealed Carry- A Police Officers Prospective

I can't read the article on my computer, but i'll comment on informing a police officer if you are carrying or not. When I went through academy a few years ago, we were taught that it wasn't to check to see if the weapon was stolen, it was for officer protection. A police officer doesn't know if he...

Re: So what now? Omama is back

Can you cite the logic behind your opinion that we should get rid of the electoral college? Simple question. edited to correct spelling (I triggered my own pet-peeve) Sense I posted a opinion, in the form of a question, I do not have a source to cite. I do not know of a discussion that has covered ...

Re: So what now? Omama is back

I think we need to get rid of canidates names off the ballot and instead have a list of 15 or so questions on the issues on hand. Then get rid of the electoral college (it's a bit outdated anyway). Real bad idea. Followed by one that's worse. But let's see it... Cite your reasons for getting rid of...

Re: So what now? Omama is back

Then get rid of the electoral college (it's a bit outdated anyway). That is a baaaaaad idea, and here is why...... As it stands now, city population centers have control over the election process on a state-by-state basis. For example, look at Pennsylvania: The population vote for Philadelphia Penn...

Good luck!!! hope you get the job. I think you're getting into it at just the right time. From what I've heard the APD won't be hiring anyone for a bit.

integral or not?

I am in the market for my second can and I would like it for my ruger mkii. I'm torn between getting "the legend" from liberty cans or getting a pac-lite barrel from ts and a element or sparrow. The only difference (besides price) I can think of is with the element or sparrow I can put it on differe...

Re: I've Moved. How to inform ATF? I've called and no one's

It took about 2 months to get my letter back from them, when I moved from AK to OH(I would consider that quick). I was very detailed about everything though. I told them the exact date I was leaving AK, what dates I would be in each state along the way, and the date I would arrive in Ohio. The link ...

PCS

So i've searched the forum for a answer to this, and while I found some information about moving with NFA items I didn't find a answer I was looking for. Instead of hijacking a thread, i'll start this one. So here is the whole story: I purchased my silencer in AK, then shortly after was PCS'd to Pue...

Re: Leaving mags loaded?

If you're worried about your mags not working if you store them loaded...then just go with a revolver. edited to add more than just a joke: :D We keep sig and colt mags fully loaded at all times (besides for cycling through fresh ammo) haven't had a real issue with them. The only time I see on...
