 What happened at the Acusport conference back in January?

At the Acusport show we were still conducting final testing of the Saker 7.62. All of the production cans will work as advertised.

Re: Specwar 762 question

I don't personally coat my baffles in anything. I have heard of people using Frog Lube or something like a Welding Anti Spatter spray to try to keep the lead from adhering to the baffles. As long as you use moderation when applying you shouldn't have any issues.

Re: Can't Remove Octane 9 HD (CTA) Expansion Chamber

Brass brush or a Popsicle stick should work to dislodge any build up. As for the expansion chamber, all of the Octane 45's and any of the 9's made in the past 6 months or so will have the newer design.

Re: Ruger 1022

The Octane with a 1/2x28 piston and a fixed barrel spacer will work fine on the 10/22. If it is something you plan on doing often I would recommend a fixed thread mount as it will simplify the system and generally lock everything up a little easier.

Re: Osprey 45 question

No, if you want to run the piston setup you will need a fixed barrel spacer as well. However you will be better off with just the fixed mount for the Octane.

Where did you order the fixed mount from? If it came from us give us a call and we can get you taken care of. If it came from a dealer try contacting them and asking for the correct part.

Re: Osprey 45 question

The Osprey does not have a fixed mount option. In order to run it on a 300blk you will need the 5/8x24 piston and the fixed barrel spacer. Keep in mind that out piston cailber suppressors are only compatible with subsonic 300BLK.

Re: 338 SpecWar release date

We have no plans for a Specwar .338 at this time. The Harvester Big Bore (.338) should begin shipping to our wholesalers at the end of Q2 2014. The Harvester is rated for up to .338LM on a 20" barrel so it will handle edge just fine. The interchangeable direct thread mount will be available in ...

The tumbler and stainless pins with about 1/2 a cup of water and a bit of dish soap will do a really good job also.

Re: 3 lug stability?

We haven't experienced any issues with 3-lug mounts on any of the MP5s we have used for testing. I wouldn't worry, people have been attaching silencers to MP5s using 3-lug adapters for a long time, if there were problems I'm sure you would hear about.

Re: What's a hoplon?

The Hoplon baffle is modeled after the sloped armor concept of the Panther tank. Instead of a surface perpendicular or cone angled into the bore we used a baffle profile that is sloped away from the blast. The hot gases and unburnt powder that impact that baffle hit at such a steep angle that they a...

Subsonic stuff is fine on a short barrel, anything super is recommended for 16" or longer. We may rate it for shorter in the near future after we have done some more extensive testing.

It isn't necessary to index the flash hider. We recommend using a set of shims from a company like PWS if you need to time your muzzle brake.
