You may also wan to look at the JP silent captured springs with the spring packs - that will also allow you to tune things. https://www.jprifles.com/1.4.7.2_os.php

Re: What if I use an NFA weapon for self defense?

I've always been curious if/how a forensic specialist could determine that a silencer was used. Obviously, in some form of close range execution style shooting the powder blast pattern may be different. However in a bedroom self defense scenario what would be the determining factors that indicate a ...

Re: Price of suppressors IF Hearing Protection Act is passed

I suspect the overhead costs of paperwork will save some money for a lot of manufacturers. It depends on what they classify them as. If they are still considered "firearms" then there will still be overhead. If they just become accessories then it will be a lot cheaper. As far as getting y...

Here's my view: 1. I don't see how anyone can vote for Hillary - way too much corruption. Supporting and essentially promoting that is a full tilt towards a complete Idiocracy. 2. IF the second amendment and gun rights is very important to you then your only choice is Trump. Trump will likely be neu...

Pretty cool what he does with his little shop. It would be interesting to get an inventory of his must-have tools. His "bunker" series is pretty neat but he should have made the whole thing more discrete. Good site/channel to kill some time on - at least from an entertainment perspective.

Re: speculation on making a suppressor after Hearing Protection Act passes?

Interesting. IIRC long guns can also be sold across state lines, out of state sales, by FFL unlike handguns. Meaning a non-resident can buy a long gun while in another state. Since I live right across the line from Portland, Oregon and all the dealers on my side of the state line seem to be going o...

I ran our local church's Turkey Trot yesterday and am now under 10 minutes a mile. Four years ago I wouldn't have made it a mile. I'm lighter in my late 40's than I was in 8/9 grade and probably in better shape. I'm not as strong as I was when I was in my 20's but I can still bench in the 300's a co...

This pretty much sums it up. It's the center part that seems to be growing these days but it may just be the media feeding those emotions.

If it flies then the bottom will drop out of the Machine Gun as an investment market.

I wonder if this loop hole would be applicable to those of us that live in non-machine gun states?

I think the key thing is to experiment carefully. The human body is highly variable and we are all different (but the same). I've lost 60lbs in the last two years and am now off all my BP drugs (I was on maximum doses before). My cholesterol levels are excellent. I generally am on as low a carb diet...

That plastic is pretty weak - it's kind of like carving a receiver out of a chunk of plastic.

Eventually, the materials will get stronger and it will be more viable.
