Re: Buckmark vs 22/45, Spectre II vs Sparrow SS, my opinions
I agree with your assessment of the cans but like the pister above I'd have to disagree on the pistols. A set of hogue wrap around grips makes the ruger feel a million times better. You can delete the LCI in all of 30 seconds while you have the gun stripped down. Any number of places sells a bushin...

Buckmark vs 22/45, Spectre II vs Sparrow SS, my opinions.
I've owned both of these pistols and suppressors for a while and have put around ~11000 rounds cumulatively through both of them over the last several months. Here is my objective opinion about the hosts and the cans. My ruger is the first edition 22/45 lite, with the light colored barrel. It sports...

First of all I'll assume you're not breaking any laws are are indeed within your rights by shooting out on your place. Otherwise you'd be in jail and not posting here. Secondly, f that whiney liberal cunt. I don't believe that accommodating these sorts of folks and their ilk does us any good. I beli...

I don't understand why anyone would want a Surefire can when the 7.62 Saker becomes available for purchase.

Re: buckmark & swr Spectre 2 vid
Have a buckmark with a trail-lite upper, and a 22/45 lite. I bought the volquarsten bushing/hammer/sear and trigger for the ruger, and I still think the buckmark trigger is better. The 22/45 lite trigger still has just a tiny amount of creep that annoys me. Accuracy.. they're both pretty nice I woul...

Ended up submitting paperwork for the specwar, I like how forthcoming silencerco is with data/materials etc.
It's a known quantity and a great value.

Re: Has anyone metered the Surefire SOCOM556-RC?
The lack of information regarding this can is quite disturbing.
One thing I found out was when silencershop tested it, it was so loud they didn't include it in their video because they thought it was broken/defective, and sent the can back to surefire.

Re: Has anyone metered the Surefire SOCOM556-RC?
I don't know that I'd call the RC a compact. At 6.2 inches it's only a half inch shorter than the saker and TBAC.
I'd consider the mini a compact, not the RC. Just really curious as to what it meters, if it's acceptable or not, I don't want to buy a 140db can.

Has anyone metered the Surefire SOCOM556-RC?
I've searched high and low for this data and have come up empty handed. I'd really like this information to see how this particular can compares soundwise to the other offerings in the industry and mainly because my paperwork gets submitted to the ATF tomorrow for either the SWR Specwar or the SOCOM...

So here's the backstory. I hung out with a girl on thursday, and then again on friday night. I did not know it at the time but this girl was the girlfriend of some guy my brother in law knows... i guess they're friends or whatever. Anyway, I go over to my sister's house to pick up my brother (he liv...

Re: 22/45 Lite or SR22 a better host?
I'm leaning toward the Lite, especially now that Ruger got rid of the gold anodize and 'slide cuts' and went with black anodize and fluted barrel. I had just heard that the SR22 was quieter. Again, thanks to those that replied. Hell yeah you won't regret it. Make sure you pick up a VQ trigger/bushi...

I keep hearing that Gun Control advocates respect our 2nd Amendment Rights and no one is talking about confiscation. Even Obama said something to this effect. It appears to me they are. Re: Additional Sparrow, or something else?
If you have a Sparrow SS the answer is simple. Spectre II ! Also Silencerco now owns SWR and both companies customer service is bar none. Just look at the industry sub forum. Quieter on a pistol than the sparrow, and quiet on a rifle. As you can see from the video's using milspec testing the Sparrow...
