Why "C Baffles" is not popular?
Gentlemen, Last week I tested 3 silencers, M80CQS50 (SAI from denmark), SRD556-QD (sigsauer) and MarkII (local made). Mark.II is noticeable quiter compared to M80CQS50 or SRD556-QD. They are using C Baffle, I just wondering why this baffle is not popular? What is your opinion? https://i.imgur.com/I5...

This is what I do because my lathe is ridiculously tiny. You shouldn't have to waste any material really.

80% 60deg Cones
Gents, I need 17-4PH material for my next build but the shipping cost of 1.75in(OD) X 12in(L) bar stock from US to my country is very expensive. I'm thinking to get a workshop to make 80% 60deg Cones baffle (the bore is not drilled) so I can save the shipping cost. Does it legal to do this? http://s...

Re: cheap cnc machine
Simple physics, you need rigidity to prevent tool chatter. The forces exerted on the tool to cut SS, Titanium etc. are high and need a corresponding resistance to movement under that force. The only way that is accomplished is using lots of iron and good geometry in the design. 72kg total weight ca...

"total weight: 72kg" Not going to do what you want it to do. Probably OK for engraving or Aluminum milling. Hi Rich V. Thank you for your feedback. I'm not from machinist background so can you please more details why it can't do it? This machine rotate speed is 0-24000 rpm/min, from what ...

Re: Form 1 Reflex Build
Nice build Sir! I saw it just has six baffles, how does it sound compared to your non-reflex F1 can?
I also like DM Reflex mount but seemed its not QD mount like AAC, surefire or YHM. How do you prevent the can not screw out?
