I've read elsewhere about loading boattail bullets backwards for subsonic use. While that does some good things for theoretical balance of the bullet, does it serve well for velocity retention and accuracy? I don't see any commercial subsonics doing this.

I don't know. Maybe I should (once my Form 1 comes back) buy "solvent trap" parts, drill them where they're punched, and call it good. I just figure I have the opportunity to work what metalcrafting skills I have a little harder than that.

Odd quirks, indeed. We have far more liberty than you on the firearm and far less on the suppressor.
