Re: Bedside quick access are for suppressed hand gun
I use a FAS1-SBD safe for my bedside suppressed G17. It's a simplex-type mechanical lock and works well.

No issues and it works well.

Curtis Tactical was also doing an MPX integral: viewtopic.php?t=136755
but he's stepped away from suppressor work until the market picks up.

Re: Gemtech Mist-22 OOPS, got the ported version
I made a set of Sparrow-esque clamshells and it worked decently well to keep fouling off the main tube. In the end I sent it back to Gemtech to be plugged. Something happened during the process and after going back again, they replaced it with a non-ported barrel.

Re: SWR Octane HD 3 lug adapter spring sticking
I had the identical problem...also on a Tros barreled AR upper w low round count. And I fully disassembled it And regresased it. Now it works marginally better. However, I do now have replacement springs on order from SRI (!!). Looking forward to seeing if that makes a difference. What kind of grea...

Re: GA Checkmate changing to monocore?
I'm supprised to see less frp, I thought mono cores usually are higher. Same here but it depends on the design...and the ammo First thing I thought when I saw the change was probably easier/faster to mfg to keep up with demand or keep the price point low I was guessing cheapier/easier to make as we...

Re: :-) MPX :-)
Very nice setup! I'm Jealous! I wish I could shoot an MPX in person! I have to agree about the 300 BLk with Trailboss. That's what I shoot with 150gr Xtremes and they are damn near as quiet as my 22LR Ruger American suppressed with subs. How quiet do you think the MPX is vs. the EVO with the same l...

I finally received my Mystic 3-lug adapter and with some time off, I got to take out the MPX, EVO and a couple of other guns. http://i78.photobucket.com/albums/j88/Engineer303/ammo_and_guns/6CA6F15D-4794-4848-B0DB-AB9FF0296B86_zpsrvxgv49y.jpg I compared the Mystic with an Octane 9 with a GA 3-lug ad...

The page makes reference to an adapter being necessary for suppressors that don't index off the muzzle. Are those available somewhere in the store? I wasn't able to find them listed.

I think Atwell's in Painesville has one you can look at. Otherwise you might try Shawn Cheshier in Lodi as he is a dealer that does demos and carries Silencerco products.

If it's unused, maybe Liberty might swap it out for you.
Otherwise just buy the 1/2x36 fixed mount over messing with adapters.

Best to post this question on the Silencerco thread. Perhaps I've been behind the door ... but have not seen a Specwar mount for an A2 flash hider. You can see it in this Silencer Shop video I'm not sure if any of them made it out, but I'd be interested in a few if Silencerco ever decided to produc...

It will also eat away at aluminum, anodized or not. Even titanium and carbon steel aren't safe. Only stainless steel is safe for dip cleaning. Hoping to get some clarification on this point. Is pure titanium OK to dip? TBAC claims that their cans are all Ti therefore safe to dip and put in an ultra...

My Octane 9 also came with the old style expansion chamber. I could not get it out so off it went to Silencerco to get upgraded to the new style chamber. Took about a week from the time the package left to return.

Looks very similar to the Alpine baffle design - but good to see it's being made out of stainless steel.

$80. They charged me half for the second one done at the same time.
Maybe not the cheapest but they also will dig it out of the safe for me to shoot on their range.
