Re: How dirty do red dot sights or scopes get from blowback

I have an fnx tactical with a rmr06 on it. Shooting with an octane 45 it does get dirty. Just wipe the front lens every 50 shots or so. Not really a big deal.

Re: 3" 1911 threaded barrel?

I started looking for a barrel for my colt commander and ended up with an FNX 45 Tactical with a RMR and streamlight. So I do understand the conundrum.

Re: combat commander as a host

No I haven't shot the fnx. I do have a usp and they seem similar. I'm liking the magazine capacity and general feel of the fnx and it gives me the excuse to buy another gun. I bought the fde octane and it sure looks great on the fde fnx tactical.

Re: combat commander as a host

Thank you Chris. I'm starting to question if I want to spend the 240ish for the storm lake or just buy the FNX45 tactical that caught my eye at the shop.

combat commander as a host

I have a colt combat commander I was hoping to use as a host for my recently purchased octane 45. Has anyone used this gun or is the barrel too short? Thank you, Bob

Here is what I ended up building so far. Thank you guys for the help and ideas. The 5.5" flash hider is taking the place of my Sparrow till my stamp comes back. Just need an optic. And yes it is a registered receiver and full auto. Bob http://i1248.photobucket.com/albums/hh499/fishnb/IMAG0326.j...

Re: AR 22's hand guard and barrel lengths the look you desir

Thank you. I am looking now and I see the seperate collar that is available. These cmmg kits look identical to my attchisson ciener kit. Now I''m wondering if I could just buy the collar and use the kit I already have. Anybody know if cmmg bought them out or if the specs are the same? Redtazdog, as ...

Re: AR 22's hand guard and barrel lengths the look you desir

I have a question I hope isn't stupid. If you use a dedicated 22 barrel do you get rid of the 223 chamber adapter? I have a 30 year old attchison?sp conversion kit and the adapter seems to build up lead and make it inaccurate. Otherwise it is pretty reliable. I have a registered receiver so barrel l...
