booster/lid the new liberty x can take 10mm 45 cal 9mm and others

I know when I was looking for a pre made booster all I could find was the old liberty or gemtec and they were 9mm only.

The new one from liberty the Liberty Mystic X Booster Assembly has a ton of options and it fits the SD tactical end cap.

Re: Solvent traps/adapters crackdown

if people were being contacted about them dont you think by now at least 1 person from some of the main gun type forms or here would have posted about that phone call. Do you think they would really put agents on contacting the 10's of thousands of oil solvent traps adapter buyers. They have bigger ...

and does that 125 include the hours of time spent learning to cut threads and do the work. Cost of tools. Cost of replacement tube for the several that will come out bad when you first start. I am not knocking doing it yourself but if you dont think that for someone with 0 skill and 0 tools its a co...

Re: Welding a silencer to a barrel

one small tack is considered permanent. If you look at the weld that holds the vepr 12 shotgun's folding stock open to make it importable its less than .375 of an inch and hardly any penetration. To fold it all you had to do is depress the folding button and give it a whack. And the atf considers th...

were you afraid to shoot your first form1 can ?

So when you made your first can were you I think afraid is not the right word how about apprehensive.

I just finished my first can made it for a 45 but am a bit worried about the first shot and may chicken out and put it on my gen 2 glock 9 before I try it on my fnx tactical.

Re: Would the gemtech LID (nielsen)work on a form 1 .45 can?

gem tec and liberty both sell boosters as stand alone.

I purchased a Liberty one last weekend at Silencer Shop. They did not have a gemtec in stock at the time.
you can also get the gemtec direct from there web page.

The gemtec one is 1/2 28 threads so good luck getting it to fit a 45 :)

Re: Form 1, 45 can questions

the piston is only the inside part of the Nielsen device. gemtec and liberty both sell the full booster but both are 1/2 28 so not good for your 45.

I just went through trying to get a silencerco booster and unless you know someone good luck :)

Re: Now available DIY felony kit

you can also just file for the form1 then when you get it get all the parts and slap it together. You do not need to furnish plans with a suppressor only the max final length. so if a guy wanted to make this kit into a legal Form 1 suppressor, it would be in this order 1. buy the parts (leave as is,...

I was under the impression that you did not need plans when you did a suppressor ?

I am new to this and can be totally wrong.

Re: Now available DIY felony kit

This is one of the biggest problems in the USA when people worry about what other people do. I am sick of people saving me from myself. If some fool buys the kit then uses it in an illegal way he gets whats coming to him. How many people that read this form don't know its illegal to miss use the sol...

Re: threading titanium tube for endcaps

i did not realize and I should have that there would be a patent problem on an item you were using and not selling. Ah well guess its back to the drawing board.

So what kind of baffles are not patent protected that are used ?
