Re: Help...I have questions on my DIY NOLO NFA trust

]If the brakes on the car are/were faulty, you would have them fixed before going to the top of the mountain so that there would be no risk. Most people are not mechanics and choose to have them fixed by a professional. I had my brakes fixed by a professional so that any and all questions are backe...

Re: Help...I have questions on my DIY NOLO NFA trust

5. WHY??? It's an NFA trust. Just put NFA items on it. If you want non-NFA items to go to a beneficiary, then put those in a Will.

WTT: My BNIB Saker 7.62 Brake for 51T Brakeout or Breakout 2

I have a brand new in box, never opened, never installed, SilencerCo Saker 762 Muzzle Brake. I really have no use for it since I do not own a Saker. However I do own an AAC SDN6. So I am looking for an AAC 51T Muzzle Brakeout Combo or a 51T Brakeout 2.0 in 7.62. A take-off is fine as long as it isn'...

Re: SilencerCo K Versions

3dB is doubling the audio energy of the source. 5-6 dB is a 50% increase in perceived volume. Huh? So 3dB doubles (or halves, going the other way) the 'energy' but 6dB is only a 50% change? Is this some kind of new math? I thought 6dB was quadruple (or one quarter, going the other way) of the blast...

Re: SilencerCo K Versions

3dB is doubling the audio energy of the source. 5-6 dB is a 50% increase in perceived volume. Sure, a shorter, lighter can would be nice, but I don't see the benefit when the can ends up being less efficient. Military close quarters fighting, sure there's a benefit in a shorter can. But outside mili...

SilencerCo K Versions

SilencerCo just announced 2 new versions of the Saker and Specwar. These are the Saker K and Specwar K. According to their own testing, the K versions are louder than the regular models on 3 different length barrels. The only benefit I see is that the K version is shorter. So what's the point in put...

Re: Silencerco shotgun suppressor

They don't really say first shotgun suppressor. They say the "first and only commercially-viable shotgun suppressor". I take that to mean that it's the first mass produced one. How do you adjust the choke on it? And aren't modular parts considered extra suppressor parts? If so, wouldn't th...

Looking for Suppressor for Savage MARK II FV-SR

I bought a Savage MARK II FV-SR bolt action .22 LR. Looking for opinions on the quietest suppressor to put on it. I don't have any 22 pistols right now so just interested in rifle suppression. Right now I am leaning toward the AAC Prodigy. It's light weight and appears to meter pretty quiet on a rif...

SilencerCo Conquest Kit $20K

Got this in an e-mail from SilencerCo. They are selling everything they make in one limited edition kit for $20K. They will pay all the stamp taxes and you can pick your own serial numbers.

http://s15.postimg.org/naovw8etz/jjfu.jpg Click the pic for a larger image. I really don't think Jesse James knows what he's doing. A friend sent that to me and said Jesse James put that out as the new gun JJFU is selling. It looks to me like it's either a pistol with an illegal fore grip installed...

Re: AAC closing down???

AAC will still be a brand, it will just be made in the Remington mega-facility they built. If it's true, it's kinda sad that they offered severance packages rather than relocation incentives.

The blog reports Remington is consolidating AAC, TAPCO, Para USA, DPMS and LAR Grizzly so far.
