What about putting a pillow over the end of the barrel, and shooting through the pillow?
That works in the movies.

Re: Full metal jackets and suppressors
This is really depressing me. First there's a thread on HKPro about suppressors damaging HK pistols and how only certain suppressors are "approved" for use on HK pistols, now I hear I shouldn't use WWB in my MAC-10/45 with my Viper45. I've got over 1500 rounds of WWB 230gr FMJ. :x I don't ...

Please don't complain if you don't do your part. Anybody can register on that website and start a poll. Those polls are NOT started by someone in the White House who wants to know what you think. It is designed as a publicity tool to make you feel good and to make you think you have a voice in your...

And just what do you think that "official response" is going to be?
Petitions on that website are less than worthless.
I think I'll start one suggesting that we stop sending foreign aid to the planet Mars.
I bet I could get just as many signatures, maybe more.

If it's on the internet then it must be true, because you can't put anything on the internet that's not true.paper9 wrote:

What does this have to do with silencers, or NFA items?
I don't need or want to see those pictures.
Maybe those pictures would be more appropriate in an anti bow hunting forum?

Thank you, wacki. Luckily all my suppressed pistols are HK's. Thats not a "luckily" scenario, there have been damaged HK's. I have seen USP's with damage and the saddest of all a MK23 that had damage. Do you happen to know about how many suppressed rounds it took to damage those HK pistols?

Any Known Cases Of A Suppressor Damaging A Firearm?
Does anyone know of any documented or known cases of a firearm, especially a pistol, being damaged due to suppressor use? I'm NOT asking if a suppressor will damage a firearm or what are the chances, but looking for cases of where it's actually happened. That is using a properly fitted and designed ...

Re: ATF NFA - Wait Time Is Now 15-Months (As of 2013-10-25)
Most states have a limit on the turn around time for CCW licenses/permits, with 30-60 days being the norm. I know this is probably apples to oranges, but I'd like to see the same happen with our NFA forms, at minimum... As soon as any state processes 1% of the applications that the NFA deals with I...

Re: ATF NFA - Wait Time Is Now 15-Months (As of 2013-10-25)
NFA owners need to complain often and loud. It may or may not change anything, but our continued silence most certainly won't change anything. Even a 60-90 day wait is totally unacceptable and it's time we made our voices heard. It's not our fault, or our problem, that they have a huge workload and ...
