Re: New problem with a new suppressor on my AR15

Follow up.... I have replaced the buffer spring with a Wolf Extra power spring and a H2 buffer. Was better, but still bumped fired, just not as often. Switched to a H3 buffer and I thought it was fixed. But on the third magazine it ran off four rounds by it's self. I did a real good cleaning of the ...

Re: Getting the sheriff to sign?

I have run all my cans through the local Sheriff. My first took 2 weeks as they found something that was 35 years old and court records were not correct. Fixed and all the rest took less then a week. It also helped as the ATF had the same question. I know the trust would not have had the same proble...

Re: New problem with a new suppressor on my AR15

Thank you all for your replies. :D I'll start with the buffer as you are recommending (and the price for a buffer is reasonable). I do agree with you all on the over gassing. The ammo in the magazine started out shiny and after the bump fire, I removed the mag and the ammo looked almost like it was ...

Sorry, I don't know for sure. It is a stock RR, 16". I do know it is not a piston system. (I have this one AR and I am not an expert :? )

New problem with a new suppressor on my AR15

I have a Rock River LAR15 rifle. I have never had a single problem with it (several hundred rounds through it). I have an AAC break on it. I have shot it with a AAC 762SDN6 with no issues (75 rounds+/-). Today I went to the range to use my new AAC 556SD. After a few rounds I had a failure to fire. C...

Re: Huntertown Arms Guardian .22lr (Gen 2)

Nice to know a low price doesn't translate into low quality. You aren't familiar with HTA are you? ;) Well, I had the chance to use my Huntertown SS .22 today. I was comparing it to my Gemtech Alpine.... I could not hear any real difference in suppression. (Using my Savage FR-TR, out doors). And it...

I just picked up my newest can this week. It was form 4, paper and individual.
It took 6 months exactly from the date I mailed it to the call from my dealer.

I have a Browning Buckmark with a Tac-Sol barrel and a few SIG .22 adapter kits for my SIG's.

May get a Ruger SR22 threaded next.

Re: Barrel for Sig 226 .40 cal

Well I finally received my .40 barrel from EFK and had a chance to run a hundred rounds through it. The barrel needed NO adjustment or fitting that I could see or feel. The POI was different then my stock barrel, but I can adjust the sites. No feeding or cycling issues. I have not had a chance to pu...

Thanks APD for asking the question and Nick for his reply....
How about though a .45 TiRant? Will the added opening size help with the pressures of the 357SIG?
Yes, I know it is supersonic, but a can might help some with the noise????

Re: P229 threaded barrel

I have a EFK barrel in .40 for my P239 and have had no issues at all.
In fact I have one for my P226 on order (lead time sucks, 90~120 days).
But I'm planning on getting a third barrel, in time.

Lateck,

Added: P.S. Bar-Sto barrels are good too, I have a couple non-threaded ones for my SIGs.

I used a PO Box as my mailing address. (No where on the form did it say I could not). And they said my UPC code was wrong. My dealer made the copy of the box for me as I do not have the can in my safe yet.
I hope they return my invoice.....

I to have waited a long time. Only I had to call and see what's up.
I learned that my application was denied due to the wrong UPC code on the box and I used a PO Box! By the way the form does not state you can not use a PO box.
I'm losing my happiness about buying from AAC.

Re: Excessive Blowback From TiRant With G19 Host

I have a TiRant .45 and on my SIG P239 with my .40 barrel, I have had blow back with cheaper ammo. Not always, but it happens.
I switch brands and no more blow back.
I have not had that happen with my SIG P220 (.45) or P229 (9mm).
