Hi Kyle, This is a .257 WBY Accumark bolt action rifle. It has a recessed type crown. The barrel od is .710 and using Thunder Beast specs. http://thunderbeastarms.com/tech/thread-specifications it looks like I need to use their specs for a .662 minimum barrel od which has an undercut of .512 for 9/1...

I have a 1/2 moa rifle. The recessed crown's outer rim is .120 thick. The barrel's OD is .710. The barrel is not threaded and to thread it will wipe out the outer rim. Any thoughts on what I can do? Bill

All I want is to not bother the neighbors and save my hearing.

Is the OPS 12th really a lot better. I am just hesitant to machine my barrels back that far on my bolt guns.
