Special Op's Shop Suppressors
Anyone have an info on Special Op's Shop cans? They are/were out of TN. I can't find any info online. I think they are out of business. I was offered a deal on a Ruger 77/22 with an integral SO suppressor. It is stupid quiet and has baffles instead of a mono core like most. Not sure if they are alum...

Re: Thompson Machine - your thoughts
I have an ISIS2 an enjoy shooting with it. I have never had an issue taking it apart for cleaning. I do use anti seize on the threads. I do not shoot 22 through. I have a couple TM cans and I am happy with them for the price. I have a Wasp in jail.
The Isis2 get as much use as my Octane.

I would agree with this. I like mine.DrDremel wrote:The performance is on par with my Octane. I use the Isis on my pistol, and my Octane on my rifles. As for customer service, it is great.

Re: Thompson ISIS-2/40? Drawbacks?
I have an Isis 2 in 9mm. I got it for 400 OTD with a gem tech booster from my local dealer. The Isis it self is a decent can. I haven't had it that long, but I have owed .22 suppressors for a long while. I have only taken it our a couple of times. It is stupid quiet with subs and does a good job wi...

Re: Getting the sheriff to sign?
For the area in which i live, the CLEO is the State Police near a major metropolitan area. Although we are a shall sign state, going the CLEO route adds significant more time and expense to the process. I have had the sign off take 5 months to get back. I also need to submit a separate set of electr...

Re: Freedom Armory Suppressors?
I did not know that. A buddy of mine use to work there as an instructor and I have not been there for years. I remember I wanted to purchase a suppressor from them and they wanted crazy prices. I asked why so high and was told to help pay for their license. That was 8 to 12 years ago and the last t...

Freedom Armory Suppressors?
Anyone have any experience with Freedom Armory suppressors? They seem well built and claim good suppression. As a point of reference, I have several cans so I am not a newb. These look intriguing. Thoughts?

Re: 762 Specwar Brake mount
Dumb question, why does the brake need shims? I have Specwar in jail, but have a flash hider. I have seen references to the shims before, but can't find info on why they are needed.
