Re: Albuquerque police accused of altering body camera footage
If you haven't done anything wrong, you have nothing to hide, right? Careful, that's the argument for warrant-less searches. I think the police has a right to some "privacy", if every second of your day is up for scrutiny you will probably be too afraid to do a mistake to do your job effe...

Yeah, good luck with a retraction. Stats were purposely manipulated, to push an agenda.

Finally, a solution to carrying suppressed.
**** I'm not an owner, sales rep, or retailer**** I've been looking for a holster that will fit my G19, with suppressor attached for quite some time now, and all I came across was custom cordura options. Didn't really want that, so I have been leaving my pistol in the truck when hunting on the move....

You need to make sure your barrel threads are concentric to the bore, before you shoot it again. Measure the thickness between the lands, and outer threads of the barrel with a caliper.

I like redundancy for some reason. Double or triple up on something you really like to shoot. I've gor 3 rimfire cans, 3 30 cal cans, 2 5.56 cans, and a 9mm. If I hadn't just bought an offshore fishing boat, I'd be getting another 9mm

Re: Opinions on these 2 can choices please.
You've got a hell of a decision to make. I would decide on the most important factor, and chose the can that meets that requirement. Maximum suppression is my main concern (why wouldn't it be? :D ) , yours may be different. Both of your choices counter each other in regards to length, weight, and su...

My buddy has a Thompson Machine Operative, and it is quiet. Big mono core in a fixed "tube". If you have the capability to machine an +8" mono core, that would be the way to go.

My super secret squirrel suppressors come with an accuracy guarantee, but unless you're a hard core operator, operating operationally, you'll never get your hands on one.

I'm curious as well. I'm using 9.3 grains behind a 175 SMK for my .308, and it leaves a **** ton of room for more.

Local sale is your best bet. I think being on a form 4 makes it almost impossible to sell out of state from a $$$$ standpoint.

You'll love it. Have an E2, and another on the way. It sounds, and "feels" great on a rifle as well.

I have some of the Eley Hunting subs, and they are very quiet. They are louder than Quiets (I can only hear the firing pin drop), but the Eley hit harder.

Federal Hydra Shok is my go to. 9mm 147s are 1000 fps, and the .45 230s are 900 fps.

Works with a standard upper, and barrel nuts. All you have to do is add mags.

Re: Salvo on an A5
^^This^^ Are we talking an original A5, or the new A5? The original would probably launch the suppressor after a few rounds. The new ones are inertia operated(think Benelli), and should be GTG. Long ago I asked a phone rep. at SilencerCo if it would work and he told me "no" , but I'm not c...

Quite a few vintage Euro brands on eBay that would seem to be period correct as well.

You could use a "cheesy" 4x15 scope, or look for a vintage Marlin or Weaver on Gunbroker. I don't know if ITAR would get in your way though.
