I submitted my eform for an SBR on 10 Jan. It went approveed 28May.
My paper form from March 2013 was approved first week of April 2014.
EFORMS ARE DEFINITELY QUICKER
I called about 3 weeks ago to ask a question and was told E-forms are taking up to 6 months....but paper forms up to 15.

If anyone cares. I only put 7.62 on the caliber not 7.62X39 and it was still approved 28 Feb.

Re: ATF NFA - Wait Time Is Now 15-Months (As of 2013-10-25)
I have written my Senators and Congressman as well but I doubt it will go anywhere. First of all the volume of complaints wont be enormous...secondly, its not a very popular political agenda for an elected official to publicly get behind. I have decided NOT to buy based on the current wait times Not...

Should I expect it to go pending like paper forms? I would think it would be by now if the whole process is only 90-120 days.

Eform 1 - just noticed a potential mistake
I am doing a form one to SBR an AK pistol.
I just noticed under caliber I simply put "7.62"
Is that gonna get kicked back? Its been a month and I have seen no movement. It hasn't gone pending or anything. Do the Eforms not go pending?

Re: DDLES Issues
I ordered a free float barrel form my 9MM AR. When it arrived I could not get it to install in the correct position. I called and they told me I needed their tool. I bought it for about $40. Really annoying that they neglected to tell me this in the first place. I get the tool and still having issue...

Anyone have any interaction with NFA over the phone?
I am trying to change the address for two form 1's and two form 4's from one FL city to another, even within the same county. Two of those are done via a trust and 2 were transferred from a dealer to me as an individual with CLEO signature and fingerprints...etc. I submitted them all with my name an...

Glock 21 factory magazines
I have two factory Glock 21 magazines from a Gen 4 Glock I bought about 3 months ago and decided I don't want. I believe the mags were never fired but am not 100% sure. I could not see that they have been from appearance alone. They are like new at the very least. I am asking $25 shipped EACH. not l...

Changing address on form 1
Recently I sent the NFA a letter stating I moved within the same state but to a different address then what is listed on my form 1's and form 4's that have been approved. They responded stating I have to fill out an interstate transport approval. did someone just not read my letter or are they just ...

Re: Another Facebook find today!!
The gun sales groups are "amazing". People arguing about how it is completely acceptable and legal to buy Glocks at the military discount and resell them. Arguing that that stupid AR pistol arm brace makes it an SBR. One clown had a 2-3 page dictation about how you can a SBR with a rifle s...

Spikes tactical Lower issue
I recently built an AR15 from the ground up using a Spikes Tactical Lower. I bought two of them the other day from my local gun shop and noticed when I installed the mag catch that Magpul Pmags do not drop free when released. I removed the mag catch entirely thinking I had it on too tight and still ...

Re: Dumb legal question, firearm gift.
You may want to ensure the name on the invoice is his name. I had a friend order two lowers shipped to the same FFL to save from spending two shipping fees. Since he ordered both of them the shop WOULD NOT sell them to anyone but him....Even though he was standing there and saying so. The show owner...

I agree with bendersquint. Oh jesus. We do NOT and did not have access or possession to FA or SBR's or anything oth...

YES. Even the SBR's the special forces use are registered. NOW whether they actually carry the stamp around is doubtful and unlikely but they are still registered with the NFA branch just like personally owned ones.

Re: NFA Forms Being Lost
I had received problem letters on two form 1's. I had to send the correct forms back THREE TIMES EACH. finally the third time I sent it registered mail. They said they didn't get them still despite having a signed receipt...I asked to speak with a supervisor and that next morning he called me back t...

Re: leaving an NFA lower to be engraved.
I received info from two different people at the NFA that if you do it via a form 1 it is required to engrave it because YOU are the new manufcaturer of the rifle. If you buy a whole SBR pre-assembled and designated as such from a gun shop different story. I asked them to put it in writing and I was...
