Re: Sig Sauer MPX For Sale with 9.5" Permanent Muzzle Brake
I've seen a carbine length mpx in a different shop. It had a 16 inch barrel, not the huge break. I'm willing to bet that some Gander website goon flubbed the Web page and used the wrong picture and description.

Re: Handguns and drones
The point with the software controlled solenoid is that it is readily convertible into a machine gun with a software update. I've also not seen an electronic trigger on a semiautomatic with a software programable micro controller, because of this reason. Usually the electronic trigger is on a bolt g...

Re: Handguns and drones
If that is a software controlled solenoid pulling the trigger, I think that counts as a machine gun.

Re: New problem with a new suppressor on my AR15
Most RRAs come with their 2 stage trigger. I found it really goofy and ended up replacing it. If OP has a GI trigger I would actually suggest trying that out and seeing if the bumping is because of a weak trigger.

Re: New problem with a new suppressor on my AR15
I know my LAR15 was over gassed. It was a 16" barrel with carbine gas system. Unsupressed it ran best with an H2 buffer. I've since replaced it with a 14.5" barrel with medium gas system and that runs like a champ with and without the can.
Definitely try the H2 and maybe a H3

Re: .223 vs .300blk AR pistol build
Especially if you hate loud, I would suggest the 300blk SBR. I have both on roughly 8 inch barrels with suppressors (though the .30 can is still in ATF jail) and the .223 is still something of a religious experience to shoot without muffs. I tried it once, it was more on the level of "well, tha...

Re: Apply now or wait for e-file to restart?
I'm seeing 10 months for individuals? You maybe mixed up with form 3s. Silencer shop also has an estimate of Q2 or Q3 for eforms. I would form 4 by paper as soon as the can was in my dealer's hands. Unless eforms was already up. I could have had my .223 can by now if I had not given eforms a few wee...

Re: First Suppressor
Copies are fine. I put the original someplace safe, have a copy in the gun safe and stuff a copy in the silencer pouch. A lot of people also put laminated and reduced copies in their range bag. In did that for the first form and never saw the value after that.

Re: First Suppressor
Well, they are regulated by the same laws that covers hand grenades, rocket launchers, and machine guns. So clearly they are just as evil. Also in relation to OP, if your not planning on getting a 300blk or a .308 the .223 can will be fine. Though I can aost promise that you'll want a subsonic .300b...

Re: INTEGRAL SUPPRESSED DROP IN BARRELS
What about 12ga, something like a Mossberg 500? A lot of people seem interested in the salvo but are not hot on the idea of a heavy can that extends the length of an already long and heavy shot gun.

Re: osprey 9mm vs 45
Having to adjust the osprey between hosts is a little annoying, but bit much of a thing. Weapon lights becomes a thing though. I cannot put a TLR1 on my Glock 17 with Osprey 45 because the can will hit the light. It wasn't much of a choice for me because the octane 45 wasn't a thing when I got my os...

Re: File paper or wait for E-Forms?
No one has an estimate on when reforms returns for 4s. I was facing the same delimma as you back in May. I shouldn't have waited a few weeks, I should have paper filed immediately. When I get my new can in a few weeks I'll paper file immediately.

Re: USED Silencers/Suppressors...
I would also call the manufacturer and see if they'll service them. I imagine that they would, but it seems prudent.
