Re: best .22 semi auto for suppressor ?
So you have landed on the rifle, if you are thinking of a pistol as well here is my recommendation: S&W 22 compact... get the standard one and buy the EWK sparrow thread adapter. This provides a near Shield like form factor and is sub-sonic with all ammo. Give you a practical 22 to use to practi...

Re: Amending A Trust
I'm not a lawyer... In my trust, the list of co-trustees just has a name, city and state. Just revise that list and sign (give copy to all co-trustees).. I think (DON'T KNOW) that only NEW items to your Schedule A (if you have that form of NFA trust) is what triggers the fingerprints/photos and noti...

Re: Wanting to Build 300 BLK SBR
Search this site for the Form 1 instructions... I built my AR platform SBRs on Form 1s (trust). Had them engraved prior to getting the Form 1 approval (while it was in process). I used Efile and that works very well (trust). On the 300BLK, I have an AAC 9.5" DI upper as a reference and also bui...

Re: How to clean a Aluminum baffle
I cheat an use a media blast chamber with walnut shells... at 40psi, it is so gentle that even alodine coating is preserved.
I have the cabinet for other uses (welding and machining)...
It DOES work great for baffles...

Re: A new way to clean baffles??!!
I use plain walnut shell media (no polishing compound) in an air sand-blast cabinet (this is a full size one). I run the air pressure at about 50psi and it works fantastic for all baffles (any type/material). The walnut media does not even scratch the metal but works well on carbon. I also run glass...

Re: Approved Eform! What do I do now?
Just log into Eform site and download the PDF. Print a few and keep the file in secure storage as well. Make sure you keep your form with your SBR at all times (say, 1 copy in a clear plastic document sleeve in your safe and 1 copy in your range bag). Others have made a reduced size copy and put it ...

Re: Help me choose an integrally suppressed 10/22?
for regular 22LR (High velocity), the barrel needs to be about 4.5" or less to stay sub-sonic. The Tactical Solutions permanent barrel shroud replacement barrel is 12" with no ports. Integrally suppressed 22 barrels have an additional gas bleed port to keep supersonic 22LR sub sonic... Jus...

Re: Failure to feed with 9 mm reloads in short barrel guns
OP, Here are my thoughts and experience. My goal was to get a 124 grain practice load that will be sub sonic in my MK-25 (P226) threaded barrel (4.9" barrel) used with TiRant 9 can but also work in a Shield (3.1" barrel) and Sig320 SubCompact (3.6" barrel). All of these with stock rec...

Re: SBR engraving
For a place to do the engraving, I had great work done by Gray Laser (TX)... I sent the lowers to them prior to the SBRs being approved... If your lower is already an SBR, that is not an issue, Gray Laser is a CL 2/7 (IIRC) FFL... Great workmanship and service.. (I'm just a happy customer)... Search...

Re: schedule A?
It would seem to keep only Trust owned NFA items and perhaps a bank account (initial trust funding and maintenance) in the Schedule A is the best option (if using a schedule).
