Re: Comparison between SIG SRD762TI-QD and Silencerco Omega
I own both also and at this point I regret getting the Omega. It just sits on a MPW I rarely use. The modularity is the only plus I see. It nice to be able to go from a QD to a threaded can but the difference between blowback, tone, and db ratings is night and day. The Sig is a hell of a can. Kevin ...

Re: Can't get my 300 AR to cycle
People mix gas systems and buffer systems all the time. If it wasn't kosher to mix the two then what length buffer tube is supposed to go on a mid length gas system gun? I've never seen a mid length buffer tube or buffer. I get that. I am asking if it was part of a kit and was recommended to you by...

Sorry, I missed your quote above which caused an early edit on my last post. That adapter is a pig at 4oz and its going to be paired with an Omega. Re: Inside a Silencerco 51t MAAD mount
Bringing this one back from the dead. Anyone know the secret to disassembling the 51t MAAD mount? Looking to make one out of titanium or at least the center piece. I don't have one of these, but, from the pics, it looks like drifting out that split-pin would allow everything to be unscrewed. Yes? N...

Re: 100% Reliability running M42000 on SBR Question
The main problem you get when suppressing an AR is gas to the face. This is caused by too much gas in the system that will vent in any way possible. A lot of that will blow back through the charging handle. An adjustable gas block allows you to turn down the gas level just to the point of making the...
