Re: Stay Tuned email

How bout they work on releasing some of the silencers they previously hyped us up about instead of pointless accessories..

Re: Stay Tuned email

maybe they'll finally release the ranger 3

or the black box

or any of their other previously promised products...

Probably just another product that won't get released tho. The hype is not real.

AAC didn't rate the element to 5.7... But yea it holds up fine and sounds great. Don't discredit your own products.

Element 2 on a 17wsm

I'm thinking of picking up one of the new rugers in 17wsm. Any idea on how an element would hold up to that caliber through a 24 inch barrel?

Titan, mk-13 and 300 TM not for use on SCAR or Ruger Scout

I just noticed on the AAC website that it mentions these cans aren't for use on the scar 17 or ruger scout. I have a ruger scout, sometimes I throw my titan on it and everything seems to be fine. Any reason for the new warning?

Re: Element 2 vs Pilot 2

I've had my element 2 for about a year now and it's an awesome little 22 can. It's very quiet, short, pretty lightweight (there are many other 22 cans that are lighter) and it can handle 22mag and 17hmr. Before I go any further, I really couldn't be happier with my decision to pick this can up for m...

The omega looks unbelievable.. if it preforms as advertised. See if you could get your hands on one before settling on a saker or surefire.

Re: oversized silencer for smaller rifle

A dedicated silencer will be quieter in theory. That being said, I've put my titan ti on almost all of my centerfire bolt guns and I only observe a deeper tone compared to most caliber specific cans, but it's not noticeably louder. If you want versatility, go for a large caliber can. If you want opt...

Re: Titan-Ti VS Harvester Big Bore

No experience with the harvester but I absolutely love my titan ti. Light enough, super accurate, very quiet on everything from my 223 to 338. Shifts poi 1 mil up just about all my bolt guns, no shift on the 300 blk. I do like the sound of modular mounts and a muzzle brake though... You probably won...

Re: Suppressing my Glocks. Would a 45 can be better?

As a tirant-45 owner and AAC fan, I can say with 100% confidence that you will enjoy the Octane more. I regret not considering it when purchasing my tirant. Cheaper, easier to clean, practically just as quiet (you can hardly tell when shot side by side), 3 lug capable, same weight, same length, pist...

Re: Ti-Rant 45 stuck piston housing.

Mine does this all the time, I just haven't used any loctite so I can clean everything easier. If the two parts become stuck just use a couple large pliers and some shop towels. No big deal. Sometimes I've found the housing comes off easier by itself if the can is mounted tightly on a gun.

Re: Whitehouse.gov petition to remove silencers from the nfa

I actually agree with the process we have to go through to own our nfa items - it weeds out the people that don't really want them. But the wait times are outrageous and need to be addressed somehow in my opinion.

Re: My first can Question

I was looking for the same types of cans last year and ended up going with the tirant. It's super quiet on 45 and will handle those other calibers decently. Like everyone else said, the octane will be easier for cleaning - although cleaning the tirant isn't bad at all. Looking at versatility in a ri...
