Re: Octane 45 Expansion Chamber Stuck
I bought a 3/4" wooden dowel at Home Depot and cut it to length. The first time I used it, I had to whack on it pretty hard for it to come out. Now it comes out pretty easily. YMMV of course. You could also just send it back to SilencerCo. Good Luck... This is correct. A 3/4" wooden dowel...

There's no back log. All of our sales are through distributors. I would suggest checking with your dealer to make sure he actually made the order with a distributor.

Re: Using the osprey with a spring on a non-moving barrel?
Whenever you run the Osprey or the Octane on a fixed barrel you will want to use the fixed barrel spacer or the direct thread mounts (Octane Only). If you don't do this the suppressor still moves and essentially turn the suppressor into an air hammer and we have seen it break barrels.

Re: Octane Issues
If the piston isn't fitting after a lot of 3-lug use then you will want to clean the blast baffle and the bird cage.

Re: Pinning Trifecta Brake?
Yes it can. The Sake muzzle devices are 2.62" in length. We recommend pinning and welding on the wrench flats so that it does not interfere with the mounting of the Sake muzzle device.

Re: 3 Lug problems
It sounds like your 3-lug on your barrel might not be in spec. If you want you can send everything into us and we will spec it all out, if it's our 3-lug mount then we will correct it if it's your barrel then we can steer you in the direction to go to get it fixed.

We do not intend to make a mount for Surefire muzzle devices because there are too many types of too variant designs for us to cover all the mounts.

Re: Octane 9 problem with piston causing end cap strike?
The anodizing will start to come off on the back side because it is getting hit with unburnt powder and other debris. If think your 1/2x28 mount is not in spec you can send it back in to us and we will get it inspected to make sure it is in spec.

You will be fine using a suppressor cover on your Saker and it won't void your warranty.

There are no o-rings in the standard thread pistons. Only metric threaded pistons call for the o-ring.

We do not recommend it. It will put a lot of stress on the mount and on the ring that engages the teeth on the muzzle device.

The Stellite we use is proprietary.
