Re: Best Range Bag Suppressor Glove?
I ended buying an 18X24" piece of "Welder's Blanket" on Amazon for $17. It'll handle 1800F, and I can cut it into four 9"X12" "Suppressor Washcloths" to handle cans. Basic black carbon-fiber, 6mm thick stuff. Maybe I'll start buying the bigger sheets, cutting it u...

This looks like it may be one way of getting around having to install tall rear & front sights when using a can. They are real proud of their product @ 180USD,, but?? Anyone tried them?? http://www.meprolight.com/default.as...bmitButton.y=0 http://www.themakogroup.com/ftbullseye https://www.yout...

I'll have to ask the SOT if they have a vet discount. I too have my DD – 214 . I did some more digging around in all I can say is I find more people talking about the 9K. From what I've heard it has put a lot of other reputable full size 9 mm suppressors to shame. This NFA game is getting expensive...

I dropped the dime on one Friday. B&H LEO Supply was running an in-house factory How-Do sale for DD-214 Vets, no live demos.. Also ordered a Osprey 45. Wanted to get my X-mas shopping complete before the July "change".. My 9mm, 40S&W, 9mm needs had me looking at the Ti-Rant and Oct...

45 cal Suppressor for the 30.06 ??
Might sound odd, but I thought I read somewhere that there is a 45ACP can on the market that can support 308 & 30.06 rifles loads.
If not,, I would like a recommendation for a 45 cal rifle can..
With the new changes approaching, I only have funds to purchase one more can b y June.
Thanks

I have one of the S&W PPK/s 22lr and an Element 2. Shot about 200 rds and no big problems. I shot the first couple mags with a dry slide and had a couple FTF's, The slide did not fully emgage. But with some oil the FTF's disapeared. The one complaint I have is the DA trigger. it comes at somethi...

I want to SBR a AR rifle, and suppress it. What I have is a factory Colt 6920 with 16" barrel. I want to make it an SBR. It is my Duty Rifle (Investigator), after conversion it will still be my duty rifle. The intention is for it to be reliable for duty, and effective out to 150-200 yards. Our...

You might also look at the OSS cans. they have a rather unique design that vectors the gas.

Thanks for the reply.. Little update: I now have both the 3.9 inch & 4.4 inch SIG barrels. I had a conversation with two engineers in the SIG suppressor shop. They pulled out the drawings and informed me that I should be able to thread the 4.4 barrel for a ACC T-Rant and use the AAC Nielsen adap...

Not to hi-jack, but my $00.0002 I picked the AAC Element 2 for my 10/22 but more so for my PPK & 22/45. My other choice was the Silencerco Sparrow SS 1)It is rated one of the best 2)was "on sale" at a real good price 3)it only wts 4.1 oz (vs 6,3oz for the Kodiak TL) <<<< if you plan to...

Re: Sig P220R Carry Barrel threading
Just found a vid from AAC that discuses the very problem I'm asking about. Based on the full sized P220, AAC sells a special long piston to clear the recoil spring rod under recoil. This piston would help on any pistol that has a full length recoil rod. They also have a short piston for 1911 with th...

SIG P220 threaded barrel Q's
I picked up a use P220 carry Elite Black last week, for a very nice price. The carry uses the 3.9 inch barrel and SIG does not make a threaded version for that size. After talking to the SIG fora, I picked up a P220 "full" size 4.4 inch barrel. The plan is to have it threaded. The barrel p...

Re: Suppressed Pistol, Which Make/Model??
I am newer than new to silencers and just beginning my research. Interesting that I have a Sig MK25 and an HK USP Compact 45 and would like to get one silencer that would work on both guns. Is that possible and reasonable? Would quality be sacrificed by trying to get one can for 2 different jobs? B...
