Re: How quiet is my can??
#40fan. Thanks for posting the pic. I couldn’t quite figure out how to. And yeah I may have went crazy with the colors. But the new ceramic coating formula I use now. Holds up much better than before and helps with keeping clean.

Re: Lost Baffle, Bad customer service.
Sorry to hear about your experience. But the person you are talking to is just being difficult. If you read my new post that I just posted. They had replaced a baffle stack for me in a silencer with a newer style baffle design. And to make them fit in the can, they had to add an EXTRA baffle to make...

How quiet is my can??
So in 2010 I bought a cheapy AAC Eco9 silencer. It was priced at like $390. It was my first and only 9mm can. So what this model was is a silencer made to use up older generation evolution9 baffles. The eco 9 was made a little bit longer to fit an extra baffle to make it almost up to par with the ne...

Re: AAC evo9 baffle
Thanks for the replies. I guess I was worried of possible corrosion or rust issues.

Re: AAC evo9/eco9
I've thought about the legality of owning say 3 similar type cans, and swapping parts. (not creating new parts). Look at the advancements just in the last 10years of centerfire pistol silencers. Hard to know what another 10 years will bring. Hard to believe db reduction could get much lower as quiet...

Re: AAC evo9/eco9
Maybe I should have worded it differently. I had the baffles replaced by a silencer manufacturer.

Re: AAC evo9 baffle
I hate to bother AAC with the situation unless it really needs factory finish. Is why I'm asking on here if the baffle needs a certian finish to help from corrosion or erosion. AAC has great customer service and I wouldn't doubt they would take care of it. But I guess I'm keeping that email as a las...

AAC evo9 baffle
Well a while back I had decided to test out cerakoting my blast baffle, Yeah was a stupid idea. But really wanted to see if it would hold up to the abuse. So I did a 100grit very light sand blast and Cerakoted it. It's a newer gen evo9 blast baffle. It did not hold up to the abuse at all. And now Th...

Re: New customer service at AAC
I know this is an old post but I have to say that AAC still has the great customer service that I've received for the last 6 ok so years I've dealt with them. It can be very frustrating dealing with customer service reps that do not really care about the individuals problems etc.. (Just doing what t...

AAC evo9/eco9
I have an AAC eco9 Thant I have completely disassembled. It is built exactly like the evo9 except it is 8.4inches vs the evo9 being 7.73inches long. The eco9 comes from manufacture with 8 of the older generation evo9 baffles. And the newer generation evo9 comes with 8 of the newer gen baffles. The e...
