Re: 300 Blackout Integral Comparisons
thanks I was curious about that. I have a sako 85 classic in 30-06 that I think would be pretty cool to have done. [/quote] We build an awesome bolt action integral. You can pick your initial barrel length then just add 8" for the baffles. We can use anything from a Green Mountain up to Krieger...

Re: 300 Blackout Integral Comparisons
I must have just missed this 2 years ago lol. It's been a busy few years really getting the shop to where I want it. I miss the discussions here with some. We have a new integral AR platform that lets us use the air space all the way to the barrel nut adding a lot of volume, this system also gives ...

I'm sure that if I keep my eyes and ears open I will find an opportunity to check their stuff out in person which will answer more than I will learn online but I'm hoping to find out what I can before I pursue real contact. With small outfits that don't have the capacity for large scale production ...

Re: 1.5" vs 1.375" OD 9mm
We use 1.375 and 1.5 for our integral 9mm cans on AR's, Scorpions, and MPX's. Sometimes the handguard size the customer wants to use negates us using the 1.375 suppressor. The 1.5 suppressors give a more pleasant tone but Db wise both are the same. We get 2 extra k baffles in the smaller tube which ...

This one took me a few days, a lot of design went into this to get it quiet with a 1"tube.doubloon wrote:Beautiful, I think I could make something like that, it should only take me about 10 years, maybe 12.

Re: Curtis Tactical Ruger 77/44 integrally suppressed
Looks great Curtis, I see that these do not screw together like your other designs. is this because of room inside the front module? Gunny On the integrals where we weld the tube to the barrel there is really no reason to thread them together, they are still shielded so the inside of the tube doesn...

I almost always port integrals, it is the best way to make use of the over barrel space.

I bet that suppressor sounds great on the 45 acp, volume never hurts. Nice write up with good photos. You do nice work too, that 45acp barrel looks as good as anything that comes out of my shop.

Re: thread pitch
We thread all of our baffles together to make the core of our suppressors, every thread on ours utilizes 32tpi, this allows to run our wall thickness lower to keep the weight down.

Re: 5.56mm can for rimfires?
We also build a suppressor made for the 5.7x28, it is our ST57FA, It is all stainless, user serviceable, and is 1" diameter x 6.8" long and weighs 7oz., the reason for not mentioning this one right off is that it isn't enough can for 5.56mm, it will handle the pressure it just doesn't have...

Re: 5.56mm can for rimfires?
The biggest problem you run into with using the 556 suppressor on rimfires is that you end up with a lot larger and heavier can than needed. The closest I have come to being that versatile is our Curtis Tactical ST9CFP, it is a 9mm suppressor with a booster that unscrews from the rear cap leaving a ...

Re: Curtis Tactical integrally suppressed CZ Scorpion
I saw the photos. Looks great. I'll be honest, you should port the barrel, even with subs to make full use of that area, unless you're trying to use it as a reflex can. From my experience, making six 9/64" ports in the barrel 2-1/2 inches from the chamber will retain plenty of velocity to stil...

Did you bother to angle the ports or did you drill them square? I just noticed, what looks like, the muzzle threads are welded on. I checked out the website for that event. Seems like a good time. Did you attend? :) I just looked at the picture of the threads, that is a powder ring on the barrel be...

Re: Mammoth Sniper Challenge Integrally suppressed 300blk prize rifle.
As always, nice work, Joe. Were the ports tuned for factory HV or SS ammo? How much difference did adding the ports make? Not only to sound reduction, but also to velocity? The ports are just there to bleed off gas more efficiently then a reflex which is usually only about 20-30 percent efficient. ...
