Re: 51T Concussion Reduction Device like the FERFRANS CRD
You (AAC) should really really move to making the latch pin a threaded hex screw to make the latch user-replaceable (and easier for the factory to replace). there are SO MANY bad latches out there, and more and more continue to be put out that this would help a lot of people. My understanding was t...

Re: 51T Concussion Reduction Device like the FERFRANS CRD
I have a question, how many springs have you worn out, and how many have you physically replaced? None but I've observed wear on them and they are easy to remove. I just figured it would be nice to buy a couple for piece of mind like I have extras of every other AR spring/part. Reason I asked is I ...

Re: 51T Concussion Reduction Device like the FERFRANS CRD
Nick. With these on the market will AAC start offering replacement certain 51t parts for for sale specifically springs since they are no longer a suppressor only part? It would at least be nice to have a couple of springs on backup as they are a wear item and would be easy to swap out by the user if...

Re: New customer service at AAC
I know this is an old post but I have to say that AAC still has the great customer service that I've received for the last 6 ok so years I've dealt with them. It can be very frustrating dealing with customer service reps that do not really care about the individuals problems etc.. (Just doing what ...

Re: I'm glad that there's nothing in the news.
I'm very sorry to hear he's sick, and I hope he gets better, but I don't miss the forum spam. And yes it was spam. It completely disrupted the forum and affected the site in a negative way. It rendered one of the most important forum browsing features (active topics) absolutely useless. Since it sto...

Re: Veterans and SilCo's Blue Label Program
As far as judges & DAs getting them, I'm down. The more people in the government getting & supporting suppressors the better. They'll also see how ridiculous the process is. As far as EMTs go, they save people's lives everyday. Our parents, siblings, spouses, friends. EMTs are on the front ...

Re: Veterans and SilCo's Blue Label Program
They don't, see my post in the other thread, I already inquired. Don't worry though, rent-a-cops, private ambulance EMT's, judges, and DA's all get full inclusion in the program. But not combat vets or deployed veterans with campaign medals. Unless you did 20. They "might" open it up for t...

Re: SilencerCo Blue Label LE/Military Program being released at Shot Show
Just FYI --- I do not work for SilencerCo nor do I speak for them, but I do have some inside info that I am being granted permission to disclose. With that said what I originally posted was just a generalization of what the program is, not how the program is . SilencerCo has not forgotten anyone an...

Re: SilencerCo Blue Label LE/Military Program being released at Shot Show
Screw the veterans. Most places do, Lowes, Home Depot, Disney, I'm getting used to it. sad but true. Looks like SilCo has added vets to the list of qualified. From http://www.silencertalk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=132161 Just FYI --- I do not work for SilencerCo nor do I speak for them, but...

Re: What is the deal with Hush cluttering up View Active Topics?
I don't know who Hush is, but I PMd a mod with the exact same question that the OP asked, and got linked to this thread quite some time back. It was a clever work around, but the useless active topics link also kept me from being as frequent a visitor as I would have liked. I am finding the forum m...

Pics of the stellite blast baffle?
I'm curious from a materials standpoint how much of an actual difference there is between it and traditional inconel and whether or not its marketing hype or if it lives up to the 30% more durable claim.

If you're really a "long time lurker" you've seen these "hush Hush" threads before, and know the solution as it was posted. Otherwise. . . What's the solution? I lurk a lot too but I don't post much either, I will say I've noticed it too and same question has crossed my mind in ...

Re: Threaded handgun barrels
Where's the best place to find factory barrels? Google failed me and I don't see any on S&W's website.rimshaker wrote:I'd choose factory threaded barrels (if available) over aftermarket ones. But that's just me.
They make one for the M&P 9 full size. Not sure about the XD.
