Re: Ti-Rant 9S on 300 Blackout Subsonic?
We do not recommend it, however it will be fine as long as A: it is subs only, make sure they are not going supersonic as stated above, B: the piston is threaded directly to the barrel. Thread adapters void the warranty. How is part B possible given that AAC doesn't make a 5/8x24 piston? you really...

Re: Ti-Rant 9S on 300 Blackout Subsonic?
When I checked with AAC on a Tirant-45 they said it was good to go with Subsonic 300 Blackout. However be very careful if you run factory Sub loads thru one. I bought a box of Hornady 208 Amax subsonic a few weeks ago and ran three thru the chronograph, they ran at about 1090 fps which is subsonic ...

Re: Ti-Rant 9S on 300 Blackout Subsonic?
I tried searching for information regarding if the Ti-Rant 9s is able to run 300 Blackout subsonic rounds. I was unable to find much information. Does anyone know if this is okay or have any experience with running 300BO Subsonic through the Ti-Rant 9S? Thanks. Have you called the manufacturer and ...

Wanted a photo? I'll just leave this right here.. http://i376.photobucket.com/albums/oo201/Ryo_Shared/HK%20MP5/MP5wTiRant9S_zpsab4b504f.jpg Not sure if my 9S setup would be a tad more quiet than a stock 9S since there's a larger chamber space due to having adapters between the 3lug adapter and the ...

I own one that I use on my Glock 26. Shot dry with 147 gr. it is hearing safe. I think AAC doesn't market it as well as they could. Their website lists dB numbers which to me, make it look like the can under-performs, when in fact, it really excels. I actually prefer it to a full-size can and frank...

Re: Need advice on either Ti-Rant 9 or 9s
As I said if you like to shoot a lot you will have to recharge the system after "X" number of rounds and that might get old. Of course you can just shoot it dry and deal with the increased noise. CT, your suggestions look interesting. Those were not on my radar as I've not seen them aroun...

Re: Need advice on either Ti-Rant 9 or 9s
Compact for what? Are you going to conceal carry it?. If its just a range gun, go with the standard size. If you plan on mounting a light you will get less shadowing with the short. Having shot both, I honestly could not tell a difference so I went with the short. I'm happy with it. Thank you for t...

CT, why do you think the 9S will get old quick?CThomas wrote:If you like to shoot a lot I would think the 9s would get old quick.
If you want to go small go small and look into a can like the DeGroat "Nano" or the Thompson Machine "Poseidon".

Need advice on either Ti-Rant 9 or 9s
Hi everyone, My first post here, but I've been backstage reading for a while now. What a wealth of knowledge on here, thank you all for that. I've recently caught the can bug, and I am currently waiting on stamps for a Ti-Rant 45, Osprey 45, Osprey 9. I am looking for one more 9mm can for my HK USP ...
