Re: 300 Blackout and TI-Rant Suppressors

Your'e losing me on that one. Assuming you are pushing a 220 grain bullet 1000 FPS down a .308 bore what difference does it make if it comes from 300 blackout shell casing or a .308 shell casing? I feel like this is a joke, but just in case it is not: The velocity of a bullet and weight has absolut...

Re: 300 Blackout and TI-Rant Suppressors

We're working on a dedicated 5/8-24 adapter for the Ti-Rant 45 that is essentially a piston and spacer all-in-one. We can't really make something like it for the Ti-Rant 9. When we designed the Ti-Rant 9 almost ten years ago, it was designed as a pistol silencer, not as a does-it-all silencer. As a...

It is not, and the OP meant .578-28 I would imagine, as we don't make a 5/8-24 piston.

Re: Which AAC Brake on SRS .308 barrel for SDN-6?

That's a good looking rifle. The difference between a dedicated .308 brake and the .338 brake is in my opinion so little that it's not a concern. You can call in anytime and just ask for me, I'd be happy to talk with you. I will say though that Mondays are crazy and specifically tomorrow, the middle...

Soaking the front end cap and O ring could have swollen the O ring, I would consider replacing it. Sometimes they can be a bit difficult to remove. If you did scratch the finish trying to get it off when it was brand new, we can bring that in and repaint it if you'd like. Up to you.

Re: Which AAC Brake on SRS .308 barrel for SDN-6?

To add to that, the Titan brake will work great on .308, with or without the can. No reason not to use it. Also, the weight of the Titan is the same as the N6, yet it is bigger and has more volume, and also is a precision silencer. I would much rather use a precision silencer on a precision rifle.

Re: Which AAC Brake on SRS .308 barrel for SDN-6?

That escalated quickly. The website clearly states that our 3/4-24 brake is only for the M110. We do not make a 3/4-24 for anything else, because those are used primarily on precision rifles, and the 51T cans are not precision cans, so we do not offer anything for it. Also, most 3/4-24 rifles are go...

Sorry guys, it's been crazy lately. We are moving forward with the Blastout quickly now, it was kind of shelved for a while during the issues resulting from the move. There is a light at the end of the tunnel. I'm not going to quote a date, one day it will just be available. When that happens I will...

If it's hitting the bushing you've got serious problems. The barrel is threaded incorrectly. It's not long enough.

Re: Damn the man Promo Everything constantly out of stock?

This is what is happening: The move took much longer than originally thought, and honestly set us back as far as inventory goes pretty bad. Actually, really bad. We are working on restocking things, however we had to take a step back and realize that restocking in little amounts here and there was n...

Yes, they are still on the website...

The 45S was discontinued because there's a 45M coming which is both long and short.

The Tirant 9 was discontinued because the Tirant 45 works on a 9mm and more people buy it than the 9. Plus we replaced it with the Illusion 9.

Just pretend I'm not the manufacturer for half a second. I just wanted to post my opinion. I get what you are saying, but I was just stating my opinion of what I've seen, as a silencer guy, not as a manufacturer. Now back into the manufacturer zone: the tool comes with the silencer so you won't have...

Re: Illusion 9 Baffle martial and other questions

I did not say that as a unit of measure, I was simply posting my opinion. Numbers can come from third party sources, or from our R&D team. If you really think about it though, why do you need a tool-less piston change in a 9mm can? I only shoot one thread pitch in 9mm. And that would never be 1/...

Re: Illusion 9 Baffle martial and other questions

It does not use Tirant pistons, due to the design, it uses a special piston, no way to get around that and still be able to use the standard sights.

Re: Ti-Rant Question

For versatility, the Tirant 45 or 45M are great choices, so you can use it on a 9 or 40 also. And Element 2 is still the best choice as far as a .22 can, especially for versatility between a rifle and pistol, plus you can shoot .22 mag and .17HMR. The Aviator 2 is a good choice if you only want to s...

The others are still going and the pistons are just out of stock right now due to the recent move of inventory, it caused some issues. They will be back shortly. Also, we have a new piston for the t...

Yes, aluminum, hard coat anodized. I've shot the illusion quite a bit with all types of guns and ammo, from .22 to 9mm, and I cannot tell the difference between it and a tirant 9 with Remington 147gr ammo. It does meter most days around the same as the evo, however I've seen it meter just about the ...
