Re: How much hassle is a SBR?
How much hassle is having an SBR? Seems like it's not too bad if you keep the rifle within your state of residence, but, a hassle to cross state lines. Are their other downsides to having an SBR? Just keep a pistol lower and throw your upper on your pistol and keep your sbr at home the government h...

Re: Octane 45K, Jacketed Ammo ONLY Cleaning?
The Octane baffle stack is very easy to remove, even after heavy build up. I easily go beyond 1000+ rounds before dip cleaning my Octane 45 baffles. Just make sure to clean the piston/spring/housing every few hundred rounds and all should be fine. ^^^^^This I put around 1k of fmj and tmj and had it...

Re: Suggestions on AR SBR conversion
Check this out: http://www.sadefensejournal.com/wp/?p=1093 It is a study of muzzle velocity vs. barrel length for AR-15 type rifles. Also, see this source: http://angry-peasants.blogspot.com/2012/08/effective-range-of-your-223-or-556-rifle.html They give slightly different numbers. I went with a 12...

Re: How to make buckmark quieter
Try to find some old standard velocity or some match grade target ammo.A 22 gets real quiet when you slow the bullet down to 900-950 fps and are using a quality suppressor.I have not been happy with most subsonic ammo as its still too hot at 1050 fps. -CL Thanks I ordered some CCI Quiet 710 fps FYI...

They can be pretty quiet and they won't cost $1+ a round like subsonic 300blk

Don't worry the piston won't deform. It's stainless steel.

Are you holding down the latch while you thread it on or let it click over all the teeth? i always hold mine down so it doesn't wear things down. it's not my can but no he did not hold down the latch because that's stupid (that being said he is going to hold down the latch in the future  )

Re: Buyer beware of Advanced Armament/an ongoing experience
I see you shitty experience and raise you this: One of my friends recently got a sdn6 well 3 months down the road of minor use and his 51 tooth latch is worn and not engaging. So he sends it back to AAC and a month later he gets a box at his door and opens it up. Then he thinks to himself hmm this ...

Incorrect form3 dealer info
So I have a silencer sitting at my dealer with incorrect info (including ffl number) on the form 3 and my dealer says he can't transfer it to me until it's fixed. Now the silencer comes from a manufacturer that is notorious for terrible customer service and they are living up to there reputation and...
